Garth of Balat Hotel

I was extremely disappointed with my experience at this hotel. The hotel was completely closed during my planned stay, and despite multiple requests, the management refused to refund my payment. This is unacceptable and shows a lack of respect and responsibility towards guests. I strongly advise others to avoid booking here to prevent similar problems. Very frustrating and unfair!

I did reservation on booking , when I arrive to hotel they ask me to pay additional money as I am paying with Visa card or paying in cash. When I refused hotel admin and even hotel owner do not let me in . When I ask to call Touris police to solve this problem , they said “go anywhere you want , you will not stay in this hotel this my hotel ” . I have been in more than 100 hotels but never met such respect to guest (((((

I would never come back even if they paid me!!! They gave us a basement room with 3D mold growing thick on the walls and smelling so bad you cannot breathe. The window opened only 5cm so that didn't help. I asked for a different room at the same price rate but they said they don't have any other but they can offer a different one if we pay another 50£ (900try). When questioned the mold issue he just said that this is what is posted on the website. It was very late at night so we asked if we can just stay one night and get a refund for the other 2.they said that was fine. We checked out in the morning and contacted Expedia, but the support center called them and he hung up multiple times, and then they denied the refund. I developed a terrible cough after one night there that I'm still dealing with after 4days....also there was a lot of noise that woke me up every hour. The socket was also detached from the wall, and the sink was so small that you could not wash your hands properly. The bathroom stinked of mold as well. This is the worst place I've ever been in and with the thickest, densest mold. If I have an option to add pictures I will

C’était horrible le quartier est un danger, mal réputée, sale, non accueillant des personnes en short avec des couteaux dans la main les vêtements tachés de sang; roule et renversent des chiens les laissant mort sur le chemin

Les personnes sont extrement violente dans leurs paroles leurs geste et attitude et même envers mon bébé de 8 mois nous avons dû partir et trouver un hôtel à 00:40 du matin c’est inacceptable et nous n’avons rien trouver d’autres au dernier moment car des prix exorbitants
Nous restons donc pour la nuit en secours (pour le bebe) dans cet hôtel???? Pas de service ni d’accueil ni de propreté ni d’isolation les fenêtre cassé donnant vue sur le quartier délabré et j’en passe
J’ai pourtant voyager dans 11 pays différent dans ma vie dont la Turquie il y a 5 ans dans le même quartier et bien cela a bien changer la situation est aggravé

Unfortunately photos are not real and rooms much dirtier and more uncomfortable. Standard room is a small room on the -1 floor with very small window and very wet air. We asked for a different room and paid additionally. Bathrooms were dirty, and the area where the hotel is located is no so safe and calm. Staff are friendly and tried to help as they were able.

The reception was not clean. The bathroom also was not clean. We could not take the free breakfast at 9:20 AM because there is nothing and just a dirty place. It was a poor overall experience.

It was a terrible hotel and a terrible room. The person incharge offered me an other room in case of a new payment. I had to pay 120 tl more to get a better room than worse..The photos loaded in your site are all fake. The reality is very different. He was also very angry to me when I said the toilet flush is not working..I am cheated by your application and request my money back..
