Very friendly staff. Good good food.
We visited during renovation works. Some rooms were really nice. Bedding could have been better and shower waste was dirty
Staff/owners were very welcoming and I was able to have the Christmas Buffet despite not having booked. Food was great as was the breakfast. I stayed one night and would definately come back.

The staff in the bar could be a little more efficient. The property is quirky which is what you should expect of a property Of this age. The breakfast is the best I have tasted,

The room was spacious & comfortable. The location was perfect and the breakfast tasty.
A beautiful listed building, with many a winding corridor. So many beautiful rooms. Our room had a four poster bed, which fit in with setting beautifully.
Fantastic meals and hats off to the chef! Great portions, always hot when it arrived at the table and no lengthy wait either. Reasonably priced too, which is always a bonus.
Lovely polite staff and always smiling, great for knowledge of the local area and recommendations.
Excellent location for exploring and car park at the back too.
