staff were very helpful and polite, just dissapointed with the heater in the room and the cleanliness!

Cons:

Parking was a nightmare in the location, the room was not the cleanest and the heater was about 90 years old and didn’t work, wouldn’t wanna stay here if it was -3 that’s for sure

I got what I paid for, I enjoyed my stay, trying to park was the worst part..
Pros:

It was basic, and ideal for a quick refresh before going into town, one of the cheapest in the area, I didn't want anything fancy just a shower fresh and change before I went to Birmingham, Pub downstairs was nice and staff were very pleasant, kind.. I would stay here again, and try the hotel food & hospitality...

Cons:

The room could do with new carpet, and a spruce up on the way to my room just to give that better feel, you have to go into the pub for a drink no tea / coffee in the room, the shower head leaked so it wasn't as powerful as it should be, simple little things that should be checked regularly to ensure a better experience when people stay at this lovely little hotel.. parking was a pain as no carpark and all the roads are full in the area.. took me 40min to drive round looking for a place to park then had to walk to get to the hotel

Great value for money stay in the heart of Birmingham. Thoroughly recommeded.
Pros:

I stayed at the Saltley Inn for an exhibition at the NEC. The location was perfect for the NEC and the evening networking event which was held in the centre of Birmingham - only £9 in an Uber to the centre and a 15 minute drive to the NEC the following morning. The external of the Saltley Inn doesn't do it justice! The rooms were clean and well set up (towels provided) and the staff were all very helpful.

Have stayed there twice now. Have booked again.
Pros:

Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Rooms are great, bar prices are very reasonable. Always something going on in the bar. Perfect location for either Villa Park or St Andrews both a short Uber / taxi ride away.
