Fun family vacation
Pros:

We love visiting the Great Wolf Lodge during the cold winter months! There is something for everyone to do. The waterpark is always clean and warm. When my kids were younger they enjoyed the water playground. Now that they are pre-teens, they enjoy the fast waterslides and and the surfing simulator. The waterpark is included with your stay. There are lots of other activities to enjoy but they cost extra money. My kids really like the arcade and the MagiQuest game. Each room comes with a mini fridge and a microwave. Late night snacks can be hard to find so bring your own. There is one sit-down restaurant on site that has good burgers and a breakfast buffet, but is a little costly. There is also a coffee shop, pizza cafe, and ice cream cafe on site. Throughout the day, there are many free activities such as crafts, kids yoga, and pajama storytime. We always have a fun time here and look forward to coming back! P.S. they offer lots of promos during the week and sometimes there are coupons on Groupon to make your stay more affordable.

Very disappointing stay
Pros:

Disappointing stay at this Great Wolf location. Very large room, but in desperate need of repair. Carpet pulled up and smelly, doors broken off cabinets, furniture stained and scuffed. Cigarette burns all over outside furniture. Water park is way smaller than other locations. $20 per day to park! Really! Is popular as it’s the only game in town so to speak, and a refuge for families with kids when it’s cold. Compared to the Wisconsin Dells location it’s pathetic .

Pros:

Room is terribly outdated. No lamps with outlets or USB ports. Had to go to store to buy power blocks to charge phones. TVs didn't work, cords dangling down so obviously prior issues. Not worth what they charge to stay here.. paid $1,000 for 2 nights in a suite. Paid $16 a day for parking, but cannot ever find a spot to park as lot is full with waterpark guests. King bed had no blankets, only sheets. No one ever answered the phone at the front desk. Terrible service.

Pros:

The hotel was clean. The front counter person was great the waterpark staff, though we’re not very friendly when we said hello or tried to talk to them for some reason they got rid of the hot tub, which was too bad cause that was great last time we stayed here

Pros:

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at Great Wolf Lodge. Staff were friendly and accommodating; we even got back some items that were left behind when we checked out! I docked one star because the room was not immediately ready when we got there (even though we checked in late evening). When we did get access, it was pretty damp, too. On the whole though, we had a good time and it was worth the price we paid.

Pros:

2hr line to check in, awful. Over half of the water slides were not functioning, closed at 8pm on a friday, very early, next day opens at 10 check out is 11, gives you not very much pool time.

Expect to wait in lines for everything.
Pros:

This place was an absolute madhouse. We waited nearly an hour just go check in, had only an hour to enjoy the waterpark because they close at 8 and couldn’t return because they open so late. Over half the water slides they weren’t open. The bunks are made for small children exclusively - it would have been nice to know that at booking. It was just so overcrowded and unpleasant. Constant lines and screaming children and very little to actually do other than spend even more money with wristbands that are linked to your credit card that cannot be removed. I will never come back.

Pros:

This was our second time at this property. We had a great time. There were two water slides that were not open, which was disappointing. However, the rest of the water park was great. The affordability of the resort is non existent. $16 for a cup of candy….

There was a huge amount of marijuana smell coming from our floor, unfortunately.

The arcade is also a bit of a scam. We were there for four days and did not see one prize won at any of the claw machines. I understand that you shouldn’t win every time. However, the clearly have adjusted the settings to make sure nobody wins.

All in all, it was a really good 7.7 out of 10

Overcrowded/ no toddler area
Pros:

We came here for a family trip with our 3 kids 2,6,9. Beware for anyone with a toddler. There is only one slide for toddlers no real toddler area, and that slide was roped off for maintenance the entire 4 night stay. Therefore my 2 year old really couldn’t go down any slides really only had the lazy river which was so overcrowded forget getting a tube. I’ve never been in a hotel that has been so packed that you can’t even get on the elevators without a line. The workers are overwhelmed at the eateries. Not to mention the $19/night parking fee where you could never find parking. I would not return to this location. Also really turned me off that I wrote all this in a survey of how my stay was and never got any kind of response.

This place lives up to the GWL standard. Beautiful. Engaging. Awesome watermark. Food is meh… but it’s kind of expected. This was our 3rd GWL we have been to and it didn’t disappoint.
