Radisson Beachfront Hotel - Panama City Beach

Young lady at the front desk was nice and friendly, which is something you rarely get in this world anymore. The room was comfortable and the view from the 12th floor was great.

This place is a motel in disguise! I was extremely disappointment regarding the condition of the room assigned during our recent stay at this hotel. This was supposed to be a special weekend for my husband and I celebrating our anniversary. Instead it turned into a weekend of regrets and disappointment!

Room #212 presented numerous concerns. First concern is at check-in, we were unknowingly placed in an accessible room without being asked whether those accommodations were needed. We did request a room on a lower floor not too high up and were offered 2nd floor. Not at any time was there any mention that #212 was an accessible room or that this was the only low floor room available. While we appreciate accessibility options, these rooms should remain available for guests who specifically require those features, and this room should not have been offered to anyone in such condition as it was. The major room issues included the following:

A strong mildew odor throughout the room, especially in the bathroom, near the bed, and kitchen area, indicating possible prior water damage. Noticed that the bathroom entry door was rotted, split, swollen, and would not close properly. Also discovered a damaged shower floor and a mildewed ceiling. Black marker marks were visible on the living room floor. Noticed the rotten squishy threshold at the roll in shower entry. Noticed a plumbing issue or possible floor leak in front of the bathroom entry and near living room area where the floor was continuously wet, squishy, and is lifting up. The floor appeared to stay wet at all times indicating a possible plumbing issue or leak.

Very large ants and small mites crawling in the bathroom. Appeared they were coming through a hole on the outside wall near the floor. Noticed the toilet could not be flushed while the shower was running without causing an extremely loud noise, suggesting pressure or pipe issues.

We discovered a variety of new issues with each night of our stay and by Sunday we were fed up and disappointed, and at that point we were only left with one more night of our stay so we tried to make the best of it.

At checkout, multiple concerns were brought to the attention of the front desk staff and a very detailed email was sent to management. I advised in my email that I had photos and video and there was no request to forward either for review. I received a timely standard apology email in response to my complaint. I was told some of the issues were noted and the other serious matters should have been addressed promptly. The reply email included a standard apology for any discomfort they may have caused and regret for being unable to offer any compensation or discounts. There are multiple ways to ensure guest satisfaction and it’s not always monetary, but offering nothing but an apology is not the way!

I will never give another chance to this motel! If you get room 212 RUN don’t walk to the exit! You’ve been warned!!

The balcony views from 8th floor were amazing. Nice sized rooms. For the price it was a deal.

I have no complaints the room was fantastic, staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay again for our next vacation back to Panama

The view was amazing, however the room was DIRTY and no one ever came to clean.

I loved the beach access and the patio looking out to the beach.

The location was perfect. There was a restaurant right next door that you can walk to and other restaurants and stores within short driving distances. The room was clean and the ocean view from the balcony was BEAUTIFUL! 10/10 would definitely recommend and I will be back!

Location was great… the room and lobby needs updated photos. They do not look the same everything is very run down and awful looking. Stains on the walls, door knobs broken.. staff also really rude.

The rooms were nice and clean. Beautiful balcony view from PH. I was impressed with how fast the elevators were. The parking was tight but we didn’t have a hard time finding one.
