Bram Hotel Istanbul

The hotel is ideally located close to many attractions. The brothers that own the hotel are very attentive, friendly and cannot do enough for you. The breakfast is delicious and a great start to the day. We will definitely stay here when we return to Istanbul.

The hotel is run by two very friendly Dutch-Turkish brothers, Ali and Tarkan. They go well above the call of duty and take an active interest in their guests and never seem to take time off. They completely renovated the hotel in 2019 so everything is relatively new and works. The breakfast is individual and excellent. I hope Ali and Tarkan can hire a manager soon and allow themselves some well deserved rest.

Very convenient hotel in heart of Istanbul. The place is clean and run very well by professional and friendly staff who goes above and beyond to make your stay memorable. The breakfast is excellent.

Ali and Tarkyn were so welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was amazing and a nice rooftop area to enjoy a glass of wine. They have renovated the hotel and have made it very comfortable. Everything was very clean. I would recommend this hotel.

the owners are very sweet and personable. They made sure we knew the area around us and were always willing to help with anything when needed. Breakfast was spectacular. Location is also great - just a few minutes walk from the sultanahmet square with the Hagia Sophia. I would for sure stay here again if I’m back in Istanbul. Also rooms felt very clean which we loved.

My wife and I recently traveled to the this spectacularly crossroads city of Istanbul. As seasoned global travelers, the lodging experience at the boutique Bram Hotel was delightful and stimulating situated near the heartbeat of the city highlighting the Hagia Sophia, Sultanahmet (Blue) Mosque, and Topkapi Palace. The host caretakers, Tarkan and Ali, provide a unique and enhanced travel experience which is sure to please your mind and soul. We highly recommend this moderately priced hotel for its unique value and charm. The hotel’s interior was recently modernized with world-class amenities while its building exterior retains its UNESCO protected designation. The hosts genuinely care about your stay, love their home country, and exceed your travel expectations as you immerse yourself in the history, culture, shopping creating lifelong memories. One of my all time favorite hotels - everything you need - nothing you don’t- it has location, it’s modern, everything works, how many hotels have you stayed where you leave feeling you’ve made new friends with the owners- nothing was too much trouble- even getting up at 3am to bid me goodbye for my early morning flight - yes you guessed it I love this place. Bravo!!

Bram Hotel Istanbul was seriously the BEST in all of our boutique hotel stays in our many European travel experiences. Frankly, the extremely reasonable room rate made the stay at Bram Hotel even more satisfying.

We arrived and were welcomed by owner, Tarkan, a multi-lingual gentleman originally from the Netherlands, who immediately made us feel like true guests in the upscale yet humble entry lobby that is attached to the charming Cafe’ Bram.

Ali, co-owner, and brother of Tarkan, gave a tour of the Bram’s fabulous and comfortable rooftop terrace and brought our bags up to our spacious, nicely appointed, immaculate 3rd floor room. Both owners were on-site our entire stay and offered every bit of advice, suggestions, assistance, reservations and all around excellent service we could ask for. Some we didn’t even know we needed 😁. This made our stay a true “10” experience.

Bram is close and only steps away from all the major must-see Istanbul sites. Lots of stoney hills but very close in terms of walking. Do be aware of the difficult uneven stoney roads all over Istanbul, btw, if you have walking issues. Bram hosts assisted us getting taxi cabs we needed to get places, even tho they were close enough to the hotel to walk. We’re very grateful for that.

The delicious turkish breakfast was one of the many highlights of our stay at Bram Hotel.

Ali and Tarkan were incredible hosts and their hotel was perfectly situated for our visit to Istanbul. Walking distance to all of the main attractions and the breakfast was lovely. Ali went out of his way to provide an earlier breakfast on our last day which was just a small example of his and Tarkan’s commitment to a wonderful experience. Highly recommend.

I’ve never loved a hotel so much! Words can’t do this hotel justice. I brought my parents with me and we all felt at home. Super comfy bed, room, terrace, and cafe. Quiet, perfect location, and amazing view. The service provided by the two brothers/owners Ali & Tarkan is unparalleled.

I texted Ali before and throughout our trip with questions, concerns, and requests. He didn’t just respond immediately, but it was fun, like talking to a friend. They never sleep or leave the hotel. Like magic, they are always available.

We loved the brothers & the hotel. We genuinely invited them over to our home by the end of the trip. They are the nicest, friendliest, and most welcoming people we’ve ever met. Thank you both for making our trip so memorable. I’m very sad to leave Bram and pray to return one day.

I loved staying at Bram Hotel because of the friendly and caring way the brothers treated you. They are genuinely great people. They go out of their way explain everything to you. They offer suggestions and arrange transportation and Turkish bath for you. The room was very clean and comfortable. Bathroom and shower was spacious and great water pressure. Breakfast was delicious. Turkish Airlines canceled my ticket to Nevsehir and i had no hotel booked, they stepped in and help. I greater appreciate your kindness and understanding. I fully recommend Bram Hotel as the only place to stay in Istanbul. Thank you

The owners, two very friendly Dutch brothers, were so welcoming and helpful from the first minute we arrived until we left. They made us feel we stayed in a private home as opposed to a hotel.
The area felt very safe, just a few minutes walk from the Blue Mosque, restaurants and shopping. Will definitely recommend to others.

This small hotel felt like home the minute we stepped in. The owners/managers (ally and his brother) really go out of their ways to make you feel welcomed. What an unexpected pleasant surprise when we opened the door to our room! What we discovered was a well appointed, decent size, clean, modern and very comfortable room. Breakfast was an other pleasant and delicious surprise. The owners acted as our private concierge making recommendations, making reservations, arranging transportation, making sure that we visited the best of Istanbul during our stay. The terrace overlooking the bay was fantastic. Location in the historical area was another plus. I definitely highly recommend the RAM Hotel

The owners of the Bram were at the hotel all the time to make sure our needs were met. They were also very helpful for giving us directions to local things to see and do. Hands down I would stay here again

I had an unexpected 2 day transit in IST. Based on reviews, I chose the Bram Hotel and I was so glad I did. Location is great, walking distance to historic sites and the tram. Roofside terrace with amazing views. Generous daily breakfast. But what stood out for me was the graciousness of the hosts who really took care of me like family. I got super sick the second day and they literally cared for me the whole day. I was sad to not be able to say a proper goodbye because I missed my alarm (for my transfer in the middle of the night back to the airport). But Istanbul is one of my favorite cities in the world and I try to go there when I can. I will definitely stay at the Bram Hotel again. Thank you Ali and Tarkan!

This hotel is fantastic. First of all the location - it is right near the old wall of the Hippodrome, and very close to some of the major tourist sites near Sultanahmet Square such as the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and Topkapi Palace. I walked to all and the Grand Bazaar. The owners are two brothers who were so welcoming and helpful in planning my tour of Istanbul. The room was small but well appointed and so clean. I used the rooftop to write emails and loved the view (and was shown how to use the lights, etc). Finally, the breakfast was also delicious. Real value for the low price. And they arranged an airport transfer too when I left. I hope to go back soon!
