Pros:

The receptionists weren’t welcoming!, as They lack basic customer service skills. The room needs maintenance (lights, wall paint, … ) since it is old , however the bathroom is brand new.

We were very disappointed with our stay. The front desk staff were quite rude and unhelpful throughout our visit. There was no toaster in the room, and when we asked about it, we were told we were supposed to pre-book one before arriving. This was never mentioned at the time of booking or prior to our stay.

The BBQ gas bottle was empty when we went to use it, and we had to request that it be replaced. The staff initially told us to go to the park around the corner and use that bbq rather than resolving the issue. It was only after we insisted — as we needed a way to cook our dinner — that they contacted the handyman to replace the gas bottle.

The shower also had mould throughout the grout, which was very unpleasant and unacceptable given the price we paid.

Overall, we would not recommend staying here. The 8.2 rating on Booking.com does not reflect our experience at all, as the property fell well short of our expectations.

Rude reception manager and misleading advertising re kitchen

The cleaning staff was friendly

Cons:

1. The manager (he named himself Steven Wong) at the reception was extremely rude. They falsely advertised the free shuttle bus service to Chatswood. So we booked this bus for the next day for our visit to the hospital. When we sat in the bus they refused to take us because apparently it wasn't a bus and not supposed to take kids. At the time of booking we clearly stated that we are here for medical consultation for the baby. Anyway the manager started speaking very aggressively and falsely telling us that we lied that we mentioned only one adult will be going to the hospital. He started threatening to call the police. We were extremely shocked by his behaviour.. our baby started crying by his loud and aggressive tone.
2. The so called kitchen is just a hoax, it doesn't have any utensils/dishes at all, the gas stove didn't have enough power and boiling water takes ages. Also, the kitchen closes at 9:30PM so good luck using it in case you're arriving late.
