Height clearance on carpark meant I wasn't able to get 4wd with 2 inch lift and roof racks in.

The Positives:
*BJ the reception / check-in person was very respectful and professional.
*The parking is onsite & free of charge which was very refreshing. Spots are very close together so care must be taken.
*Large, spacious room with positionally functional outlets for recharging devices.
*Functional furniture (albeit old) / Functional bench space very handy for luggage.
*Very good air-con without any objectionable odours emanating from it when it was turned on.
*Clean toilet & toilet bowl (although not the entire bathroom).
*Clean sheets.
*Very good lighting in bathroom.
*Block-out blinds
The Negatives:
*Altho’ I specifically requested the room & bathroom be vacuumed & was told this was done, there were strands of hair on bathroom & shower floor (photos). Not the worst I’ve seen but more care must be taken. This is a very basic standard that ought to be part of house-keeping operations whether a guest requests it or not.
*Mattress springs were so old that it felt like sitting / sleeping in quicksand…even difficult to actually get out of!! It was a very uncomfortable night!!
*The so-called “house-keeping manager” needs to take guests’ requests a bit more seriously. As I do understand that English is their second language; they need to focus even more on accurate communication and comprehension skills.
*Bathroom shower / shower door was riddled with mould / dirt. This is simply inexcusable. This dirt & mould debris was clearly long-standing & hadn’t been managed in many years (photos).
*Wardrobe was also very old, hadn’t been cleaned in yrs if ever. Also where the mini fridge, coffee making facilities, ironing board & a space to hang clothes. It was so old, dirty, manky, irksome; serves zero purpose (photos).
*There was an old, broken electricity box up high on the wall – also hadn’t been attended to.
*The lighting in the main room was very dim; only two small bedside lights. Indicatively intentional as the main floor also hadn’t been fully vacuumed.
*Called reception to let them know I’d been delayed for check-out, it was a very bizarre /awkward interaction. Should’ve been a very simple, quick phone call, yet it was difficult & frustrating: Long tory short, the line opened, no one answered, then I had to ask three times “who was speaking” when eventually she said: “Anna”.
*Hospitality staff need to be trained in providing professional, respectful, engaged customer service.
*The room was right near the entrance and near the stairs.
close to the project That I am working on
my room was facing the highway, and there was alot of traffic
The water pressure
I found the front desk staff to be slightly rude
Free car parking. Ease of checkin.
Old dated room. Smelly communal kitchen.
Convenient location to hospital
Smoke alarm battery was flat and the battery failure alert woke us up at midnight. We had to rouse the night manager ( which wasn't easy) to fix it. He initially struggled to understand the situation . Above all, it is a safety issue.
Great location for what I had to do, lovely spacious room with a lovely view
Nothing
Comfortable spacious room with balcony, good size bathroom, clean, enclosed wardrobe and plenty of bench space, good heating / cooling, friendly staff, near bus stops. Have stayed many times.
