Hotel Nature Lodge Finca los Caballos

Everything was wonderful. Irene was amazing and made our stay great.

After 9;00 pm there’s no one at the front desk to help you so I have to stay in other place that’s my only complaint, I have to say they did everything to make as feel like home after the incident, so thank you.

Toutes les installations sont vétustes et pas entretenues. Terrasse en bois de la piscine avec des trous dans certaines lames de bois, l eau pas nettoyée, le
Mobilier brûlé par le soleil. Dans les chambres c est le même constat. Les robinet sont vieux et ne fonctionnent qu à moitié, la propreté laisse plus qu a désirer. Franchement a part le personnel qui est sympa et la vue, tout le reste est à refaire et reprendre. Nous n’avons pas testé le restaurant donc je n’ai aucun commentaire à faire à ce sujet mais honnêtement hôtels.com’perd du crédit à proposer un tel établissement

The grounds were beautiful and seemingly well-maintained; the rooms not so much. Once we got the correct room, we found it to be crawling in ants and other bugs, due to the louvered doors and lack of a tight seal. We were constantly swishing ants off of us while in bed, as they'd crawl up the bed. Also, there were a couple geckos living in the ceiling that randomly chirped during the night.

The first night, we had a power outage due to a storm that affected the whole town, but nobody checked on us until breakfast in the main area the next morning.

The following morning, we discovered that there was no hot water.

The third day, we had no water at all and had to drive to town for it, since nobody was to be found on the property and didn't have a contact # or room phone.

It's too bad; this place has potential and looks like it was great at one time. As for now, the room we got (#1) was rough around the edges and hadn't been kept up.

Lastly, English is only spoken by one staff member, so you will have trouble if you don't have a good understanding of Spanish. Maybe I'm wrong, but I got the feeling that they were annoyed by our presence the whole time; it lacked a warm welcome.

Though I will never go here again, hopefully someone can turn it around and bring it back to it's former glory.

We had a wonderful stay. The staff are kind, welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was good and the amenities are a nice bonus. We went for a morning walk on the trails and got to watch their family of howler monkeys that live nearby. The only thing was our hot water didn’t work and you can hear your neighbors. I recommend also if you are looking for something just outside the center of town of Montezuma. Feels safe, pristine, and is lovely!

before i even arrived i felt put upon. days before my arrival i attempted to arrange transport from the Tambor Airport, but my messages were ignored. hours before i resolved the dilemma. the room i stayed in for four days was never provided service. the shower did not work properly and on my first use, caused a flood in the bathroom. rather than fix it i was instructed to use less pressure which made showering much less enjoyable. the coup de gras however was leaving three days earlier than my reservation but receiving no refund, nor was there an attempt by ownership to provide a refund. thankfully this issue was resolved by my credit card co. who knows a crook when they see one.

Service was warm and welcoming.

Relaxing stay, close to the town Montezuma which is very lovely and cosy. Spacious room, we had a room with a sea view. Service was great, the receptionsit Irene was so nice and friendly and helped us with all questions we had.

El hotel precioso, muy tranquilo y cómodo, la comida muy rica también... volvería sin duda alguna, súper recomendado!!

Superbe séjour, du début à la fin, l’accueil et le service offert était top ! C’est un lieu magique au plus près des singes hurleur.

Lodge sehr nett geplant und tolle Lage. Wirkt insgesamt sehr vernachlässigt. während dreitägigen Aufenthalts keine frischen Handtücher, keine Reinigung. Ameisenkolonie im safe. Beim Frühstück 4 Hunde, die ununterbrochen zum Tisch kommen und betteln.

Lugar espectacular para épocas de frío. Muy acogedor y con mucha tranquilidad.

Terrific spot in the mountains just outside of Montezuma between Cobano and the beach. We had a nice breeze and air conditioning was only used at night. There was a pool and a billiard and yoga area, great for the kids with foosball. Walter was an amazing chef with homeade pasta (shrimp ravioli) and superb service. My only suggestion would be to bring your own coffee maker, because we wake up early and the breakfast / coffee was only served around 7:30 - 8am, so we were always waiting on breakfast and coffee. Everything else was wonderful. We are already planning our next trip. Fantástico lugar en las montañas a las afueras de Montezuma entre Cóbano y la playa. Tuvimos una brisa agradable y el aire acondicionado solo se usó por la noche. Había una piscina y una zona de billar y yoga, ideal para los niños con futbolín. Walter fue un chef increíble con pasta casera (ravioles de camarones) y un servicio excelente. Mi única sugerencia sería traer su propia cafetera, porque nos levantamos temprano y el desayuno / café solo se sirve entre las 7:30 y las 8 a.m., por lo que siempre esperábamos el desayuno y el café. Todo lo demás fue maravilloso. Ya estamos planeando nuestro próximo viaje.

El hotel tiene una buena ubicación cerca de Montezuma, rodeado de naturaleza. Sin embargo se nota la falta de mantenimiento en algunas zonas del hotel. Las habitaciones son sencillas pero no tengo queja en ellas. No obstante, el restaurante necesita una mejora urgente, empezando por el personal que lo atiende. El señor Walter (encargado del restaurante) debe mejorar la atención, falta cortesía en su servicio y el higiene deja mucho que hablar. En general le daría un 2 de 5 estrellas a esta estadía.

L’endroit est magnifique! Un peu loin de la ville, mais en auto c’est parfait! Les chambres sont biens, le déjeuner était bon et le personnel très accueillant! Un lieu à découvrir.
