What a fabulous hotel
Pros:

Location , friendly staff , room , everything was perfect , we could leave our car and explore the city and after checking our room was comfy warm and truffles waiting for us , the staff were helpful , the breakfast is the best we have had so much choice for all tastes and diets . The sitting and lounge area is warm inviting and very spacious .
We will most certainly be back

Better than Premier Inns
Pros:

Spacious, very clean room which had good noise suppression from the road outside. Plenty of parking, good choice at breakfast and pleasant staff. I frequently stay in Carlisle and will now have this hotel as a preferred option.

A pleasant stay in a friendly hotel
Pros:

The staff were pleasant, particularly the man who worked on the bar at weekends. Room was quite small but looked recently painted and everything worked. Bottled water, toiletries and biscuits were provided in the room.

The bathroom was modern and looked recently refurbished and the bed was comfortable.

The cleaner appeared to forensically clean the room between the nights of our stay; more the level you would expect on guest changeover.

Breakfast was nice and also peaceful.

Cons:

Nothing significant to dislike. We misjudged the location and it was a little further to the town than we expected. This is more on us, though and would have been fine if the weather was good.

Shower pressure a bit weak to use the waterfall feature but probably not too much can be done about this.

A regular stop for me on business trips to Carlisle. Great value, comfortable with great staff and excellent food.

Good hotel but overrated. More attention needs to be paid to cleanliness

The hotel was nice and rooms look cosy. Breakfast was delicious. Friendly staff in the restaurant

Cons:

One of the window handles was broken therefore you can't seal it properly and it was constantly drafting.
When we came into the room toilet was not flushed which means it had not been cleaned.

Excellent stay, I'll be back!
Pros:

Great hotel and excellent value for money. Large car park so no issues with parking. Hotel room is large and comfortable, shower was good and breakfast was as expected (full English plus some continental too). We ate in the restaurant one evening and the quality and price were excellent. Staff were all so helpful and would stay again if I am ever down that way again.

Cons:

Noise from the main road can be a bit annoying.
