Pros:

*Location
*Price for size of the room
*Breakfast - all ingredients at same temperature
*Pillows
*Parking

Cons:

*Bed needs to have better structure
*WiFi hit or miss
*I would recommend adding a railing to help those who need it getting in and out of shower.
*I would recommend leaving the heating of in the rooms
*There are glass bottle of milk on all breakfast tables but not all tables are used so is this leading to food waste???

I would highly recommend this place to all Carlisle guests.
Pros:

Room was very comfortable, we enjoyed every day of our being there. Especially, wanna tell a couple of words about breakfast - it was absolutely amazing! Very fresh, substantial and delicious!

Cons:

Really can't remember about any minuses.

A First Class Hotel
Pros:

This was the fourth time we have stayed here and as our stays before it was excellent. All the staff are so friendly and helpful , our room was extremely comfortable and the food was superb. The evening meal was well presented and very tasty and Kyle our server was very efficient. There was plenty of choice for the excellent breakfast so all in all a great experience and we have already booked for a further stay. Many thanks to you all.

When working in Carlisle I’m disappointed when I can’t book a room here as there’s nothing comparable on offer

OK. Decent value for money. Food was great
Pros:

The staff in the bar/restuarant, the lady at reception and the young man who helped me with my case. All very smiley and helpful.
The gentleman in the bar/restuarant was lovely and very courteous.

Cons:

The male receptionist when I arrived. An order gentleman (possibly asst. Manager or mnlanager(. Not particularly smiley or helpful. Informed me no lifts but also did not offer to get assistance for me with my heavy case. Not the best customer service. The younger members of staff were much more friendly and helpful.
The room was very 'tired' and in desperate need of an upgrade. Fibre pillows and duvet - yuk. Hallway and stairs carpet is old and dirty.

Unusual.
Pros:

An unusual hotel. Nothing seems quite right.
TV in room very hard to get out of Netflix. One lady knows how to do it. The rest have no clue. Why buy overcomplicated tvs for rooms.
No wheelchair access. Ground floor rooms are only accessed by steps and through an unlit breakfast room.
Very limited bluebadge spaces.
Bar food excellent but pricey.
Contacted by hotel to pay in cash. Card machine down.
When we arrived it was working.

Perfect for my needs
Pros:

Great location close to city centre. Quiet room with good amenities. Lovely staff.

Cons:

Shower was very feeble! Fresh milk in room would be nice or a sign saying ‘Please ask for fresh milk’

We had a fabulous stay. Lovely welcoming staff. Room was comfortable enough. The breakfast was the highlight - exceptional

Cons:

I thought the evening menu was a bit boring, just usual run of the mill pub food.
