Hotel Maggiore Bologna

The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The hotel is on the outskirts but it is very simple to get into the center by bus. The hotels offers plenty of free parking. The nearby neighborhood features adequate dining options and a nearby supermarket, A very good choice for the economy-oriented tourist.

Room is very small shower is even smaller was a detachable shower head in a shower you couldn’t turn around in when the water hit the sliding glass door for the shower it leaked water in the floor couple of pieces where broke on the sliding door the door fell down at me 2 times

The hotel is amazing it’s clean and has a lot of facilities in the room. My booking was made last minute and i didn’t have any phone charger with me just the cable. They have cable chargers in the room. The breakfast is very nice and they have also gluten free options. The most amazing thing is they have a free parking for the hotel customers which is really hard to find in Bologna. The stuff was very polite in the reception and in the breakfast area too. Everything was amazing! Totally worth it

The hotel had construction going on. Very loud, dusty, and all day! They pit us in room next to construction. It was small and loud.
Had them put us in room size we paid for and away from construction. They did move us but still close to noise. Very dissappointed.

Four staff members with 28 kids in to, what could possibly go wrong? Well, next to nothing. The hotel is comfortable, and the beds allow for a very good night's sleep. This, even with the occasional ambulance wail, to startle you out of your slumber. There is a hospital just up the road from the hospital. The breakfast service in the morning is friendly - staff couldn't do more to assist you. The selection is so good. Thank you to the staff in all areas of the hotel for making us feel so welcome. I would definitely recommend this hotel on your visit to Bologna.

A pleasant, clean and quiet room for a first night in Italy after a long trip from the US. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I was very happy that I could have dinner delivered to my room.

Loved our stay at the hotel as a family of 3, would rate the hotel more than 3 stars. Breakfast was also great.

We chose this hotel because we didn’t want to bring a car into the city and we were not disappointed. Claudia was delightful and provided us with a very warm welcome with a lot of helpful tips. The hotel has ample parking and the rooms were very large. The bathrooms are also sizable. They made every effort to ensure we were comfortable, including robes, toiletry bags, complimentary snacks, and even access to bus tickets. I will only stay here from now on when in Bologna. It was truly exceptional.

The staff were wonderful, so kind and eager to help. The room had everything we needed and if not then you just need to ask and they will bring it to you.

Super friendly staff and all of them very helpful, helped with directions to the Ducati museum, which bus to take downtown, selling bus tickets in the lobby and the morning cappuccinos! Very quiet and beds were perfectly firm. Location was very good for our activities and there was a very good restaurant nearby. Since the Ducati factory was closed so we couldn't take that tour we are obviously coming back and will stay here again for sure. Oh yeah, breakfast was very good too!

Nice hotel, from the outside a bit shabby but nice and clean from the inside, friendly staff.
Bed and bathroom were fine. With bus in centrum within 10 min. Breakfadt was also vey nice. Bemabo restaurant arround the corner was nice to eat.

Room was clean and comfortable. An area in the shower was quite slippery.

Staff are very nice and competent. Food was very good with friendly and accommodating staff. Great value over-all.

Everything was so clean and I had everything I needed in the room. Hotel staff were nice and helpful. Would definitely recommend to those wanting a quiet, safe, clean place to stay that is 3km outside downtown.
