Location
Nothing
Historic (Victorian) ambience upgraded to modern convenience.
The main staircase being out of use.
The location. The helpfulness of all the staff.
The fan, iron and ironing board in the room.
It was a bit tatty on the outside, especially the entrance area.
The evening meal was pretty grim. The breakfast was better
Friendly staff. Lift to all floors. Good selection at breakfast. Plenty of drawer and wardrobe space
Shortage of hooks to hang towels in the bathroom.
Lovely location and rooms with Seaview are lovely large and comfortable. Breakfast was good value but was only warm.
Bar closed at 11pm on Saturday night
Top Lage, direkt am Park.
The staff and the breakfast
There is absolutely nothing in this hotel. The bar doesn't open till late afternoon. You can't get a coffee or even water. No fridge in room. Couldn't feedour dog properly as we couldn't store her tinned food. The staff did keep her chicken in their fridge but it wasn't working properly as the chicken went off. Consent niggles. Dispenser in shower not working, plug Sticking in sink, flashing light in bathroom all week. Work going on , scaffolding, drilling right outside our window. We weren't told this was going on. Then to top off our week we were woken by a fire alarm because someone hadn't covered the sensor. Needless to say we won't be back and we will not recommend
Heating was on during the heatwave. Couldn’t be turned off.
Situation
The room was too hot due to the weather
Clean room with hair dryer and fan
Neither windows could be opened so the room was stiflingly hot despite using the fan.
Location and friendly staff value for money
Location was excellent, the room was spacious and well equipped , the hotel bar was nice and staff were friendly, car park was only £5 for 24 hours
I enjoyed all aspects of my stay
