I had the best experience well checking in for the night, even though it was one night stay. Jenni was amazing and helped me . She explained everything and helped me so well. We stopped at the Best Western on our two week vacation. Our son for the next two weeks only talked about going back to hotel on way home, which we did. The waterslide and pool are a HUGE hit! Thanks to Diane for making us feel valued and helping create memories

The kids love the pool and slide, it is the highlight of their trip.

The hotel is clean, it is near lots of restaurants. Right now their own restaurant is under renovations, so don't count on meals in the hotel.

I would not stay at the Seven Oaks Hotel Regina, SureStay Collection by Best Western again.

We had to change rooms shortly after arriving because our first room was not properly cleaned. There was hair and lint in the sink and bathtub, the floors were dirty, and the room showed significant wear. Around the base of the bed, old damaged carpeting appeared to have been covered with material rather than properly replaced.

The second room was somewhat better, but there was still hair and lint in the bathtub, sinks and on the bathroom floor. There were also remnants of old party decorations stuck in the corners near the ceiling and the room had a distinct mildew smell.

Throughout the night, an extremely loud mechanical/vent release occurred approximately every 10–20 minutes. The front desk explained that it was related to the air-conditioning system. The noise was sudden and loud enough to wake me repeatedly, and between that and guests yelling in nearby rooms, I did not sleep that night.

The pool and waterslide were the main reason we chose this hotel, and unfortunately this was the most concerning part of our stay. My children tried the waterslide once and did not want to use it again. The surface was badly peeling in places and scratched their backs as they went down. The slide felt unstable to them, and the stairs leading up to it were visibly deteriorated.

The pool area overall appeared to be in significant disrepair. There was extensive rust and deterioration around the overhead ventilation and ductwork, peeling and damaged surfaces, and heavily worn stairs. The carpeting near the bottom of the stairs had a strong odour of dampness and urine, and the pool area itself had a very unpleasant smell.

I understand the hotel is undergoing renovations, but this was not simply an older hotel in need of updating or a minor inconvenience caused by construction. In my opinion, some areas were in such poor condition that they should have been closed, properly cleaned and fully renovated before continuing to be made available to paying guests. Patchwork or cosmetic repairs do not address the underlying condition of the property.

I raised my concerns with the hotel and was given a 25% discount. While I appreciate that they acknowledged there were problems, I do not feel that was an adequate resolution. We encountered cleanliness issues in two separate rooms, a persistent mildew smell, I was unable to sleep because of the repeated mechanical noise, and the pool and waterslide we specifically chose the hotel for were in extremely poor condition.

Given the overall experience, I believe a full refund would have been more appropriate.

Based on the cleanliness, maintenance, overnight noise and particularly the condition of the pool and waterslide area, I cannot recommend this hotel in its current condition and would not stay here again.

As long-time Elite members of Best Western Hotels, we reserved a room at the Seven Oaks Hotel during our trip from Winnipeg, Manitoba. Unfortunately, our stay did not meet our expectations.
Upon arrival, we noticed that parts of the hotel were undergoing renovations. The long hallway carpets appeared worn and dirty, which created a poor first impression. Our room was located at the far end of the hotel, requiring a lengthy walk through the corridors to reach it.
On a positive note, our room with a king-size bed was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless. However, the body soap dispenser in the bathtub was loose and in need of repair.
One of our biggest disappointments was the lack of complimentary breakfast. When I inquired about breakfast at the front desk, believing it was a standard Best Western offering, the clerk informed me that no breakfast was available. The response felt unfriendly and left us feeling unwelcome. As a result, we had to leave the hotel the next morning and purchase breakfast at a nearby Tim Hortons.
Considering the condition of the hallways, the ongoing renovations, and the absence of breakfast, we did not feel that the room rate represented good value for the money. While the cleanliness of the room was appreciated, our overall experience was disappointing and fell short of what we have come to expect from a Best Western property.

Pool was awesome for small and poolside rooms very convenient. Laminate floors awesome for cleaning up after swimming.
Housekeeping staff was very friendly and accommodating when we needed to do some laundry and get clean sheets. Larissa was very kind and polite.
Like that the beds can moved as we were able to put children on floor between he beds. Would definitely stay here again

Staff were responsive and helpful. Especially when there was an issue with our room. The pool was really nice, wish we had brought a swimsuit XD
