The hotel was better than expected
Pros:

After reading the reviews, I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel. The room was very spacious and the beds comfortable. The shower was large and worked perfectly. Breakfast was included. A free shuttle service to the airport is offered. The architecture of the hotel is very distinctive (and can already be seen when approaching YVR by plane).

Cons:

Some areas need renovation (replacing the carpets in the hallway, repainting the bathroom). Breakfast offered plenty of sweets (croissants, cupcakes, cold pancakes, yogurt, etc.), but it would have been disappointing for guests who prefer something savory in the morning.

Pros:

Quick shuttle from the airport. Clean room. Comfy bed with pillow choices.

Disappointed
Pros:

Left before breakfast was available.
Chose this hotel for location, airport shuttle, and price.

Cons:

Arrived at YVR at 1 pm. First shuttle drove by even when I waved him down. Second shuttle, driver said he would not take me to Abercorn until after 16:30. I would have gone to Hampton, then walked but it was pouring rain and driver said if I wasn't booked there, he couldn't take me.
The next shuttle driver I talked to (16:45), said was very apologetic and said he would have picked me up at 14:00. I was unhappy to have to sit in th Airport for 3 and a half hours.

Our stay was ok . East property to access, close to the airport.
Pros:

Like the convenient location and the restaurant next door. We were given a bag breakfast to take as our flight was early.

Pros:

It was ok as I was there for only a night. I appreciated the airport shuttle. It's the type of place you go when you have no other choice.

Cons:

I wish they didn't include the "continental" breakfast. I kinda felt offended by the hotel's lack of desire to serve you anything resembling a breakfast. As if they try to see what they can get away with.
