The duvet wasn't very warm and needed to be replaced.
Lovely outlook over the harbour. Room was clean well-equipped. I liked the tea bags and tunnocks confectionary. Breakfast was nice. Helpful and accommodating staff. Stronger coffee requested on the second morning was nice.
Room door was difficult to open doors with hands full of luggage as there was a top latch and a key to work at the same time.Bed was a little soft for my liking. Coffee was weak on the first morning; much better on the second when I asked for a stronger one. Parking not that easy as none available on-site for us.
The best dog hotel EVER! Our x2 Labradors were treated like queens. It was so lovely to go somewhere and every single member of staff were so welcoming. We were catered for by having our breakfast and dinner in the conservatory looking over the bay with our dogs. The even served them breakfast first with some freshly cooked and cut up sausage! Absolutely stunning hotel. Will forever hold a special place in our hearts as we got engaged here, on our trip!! Truely magical 🥰🥰 we most certainly will be back on the future hopefully
A little on the spenny side but worth it for a special trip!
The hotel is in a great location. Having breakfast in the conservatory overlooking the bay is lovely. The breakfast itself is excellent, both the cooked version and the continental. The staff are friendly and helpful.
There is very limited parking but the public car park is only a short walk away.
The view was the only thing going for it
Third time staying here and very disappointed. The hotel is in dire need of redecoration, everything looks tired. Carpets are badly stained, grout in shower is needing replacing, paint doesn’t look as though it’s been touched up in years. The staff for the most were pleasant, although I was overcharged and then made to feel as though it was my fault, not even an apology
Beautifuly presented hotel, unbeatable location
Bar, dining all great- food menu first class
Staff exceptional- uniform smart
Decor exceptional, very comfortable & stylish
Even though the weather was appalling during our stay, we loved staying here
Dougie the night porter, the bar staff, reception & waiting staff all obviously loved their jobs & took a pride in the wearing of the smart Scottish tweed uniforms, they were all delightful
I would love to return

Breakfast service was slow but good
Location was perfect
Not much parking
The hotel was lovely, the staff were brilliant, the breakfast was great. The room was spotless.
The parking is really bad. Couldn't park on site, they say they offer valet parking FOR £25 🫤 as it was raining i thought i would have that but they couldn't offer that and we're very vague about where they were going to park it all they would say was it had cctv. So I had to park in a public car park in town about a 5 minute walk away. Really not happy about that.
Although the room was a single room it was still a lovely space and i have such a good night sleep which i really needed.
Has everything i needed for a one night stay.
Toilet in room 159 was a bit tricky to flush and then if you didnt do it right it would constantly run.
Beautiful locatin and staff were really friendly.
Breakfast was table service. Restaurant and bar staff excellent. Views beautiful. Close to Corran Hall and a short walk into town.
Could have been warmer.
