Old world elegance tarnished by Americans.
Pros:

Have been before. Lovely location and nice atmosphere.

Cons:

A crowd of very noisy Americans spoilt what was supposed to be a special end to our Scottish holiday. The bathroom in our room (55) was very cramped.

Pros:

Room was very comfortable. Staff were wonderfully helpful and attentive. Breakfast was wonderful.

Cons:

Unfortunately there was no space to use the spa except for 2 slots in the evening which was quite late. Although I wouldnt criticise too much, I believe that the facilities are open to public also. But id much rather have had the opportunity being a guest at the hotel for 2 nights. However I would return and be hopeful to get a chance to try them next time.

Pros:

How lovely and dog friendly the hotel is.
Having breakfast in the conservatory watching the boats coming and going.
The staff were all excellent

Cons:

The toast was the soggiest ever but we asked for fresher, crispier toast and it was replaced!

Wonderful hotel for a short break. Great location and welcoming staff.
Pros:

Traditional Scottish hotel. Cosy and welcoming. Breakfast was outstanding and service exceptional.

Cons:

Needed to wait on check in after the 3pm time although were given complementary drinks.

Don’t think I will be staying there again. I travel a lot with company vechial. I need to be able to park.
Pros:

Great location. Hotel very nicely decorated, staff were excellent. Room very comfortable nice and clean.

Cons:

Parking. They advertise they have parking but they don’t. Two electrical parking spots and two disabled parking spots nothing else. You have to go three to 400 meters away behind a church and park there in a free muddy car park.

Great option for Oban
Pros:

Terrific cooked breakfast to order. The lobby was very pleasant and the rooms had old world charm. Great location across the street from the water, and easy walking distance to restaurants and shops. Very scenic.

Cons:

Not all of the bedrooms floors are accessible by lift, so ask in advance if you have folks who can't haul luggage up stairs.

Great location but didn’t have the facilities or parking we expected
Pros:

The location was great, and the sitting area with bay windows was beautiful. The staff were really good including the reception, the cleaning staff and the morning restaurant staff.

Cons:

There is very very limited parking, the room was exceptionally hot and uncomfortable, was really quite expensive for what we got.
