I have stayed here many times prior to a flight. I love the place.
The room was clean and OK.
The bath hot water was luke warm even after running for ages.
The toiletries were non-existent practically.
2 drawers would not open at all and couldn't be used.
2 of the lights did not work and needed bulbs replaced.
The fan was broken, and the room windows only opened a tiny bit, so the room was stiffeningly hot.
We paid 40 quid for dinner set meals for 2 of us. The starters were OK but hardly any toast to eat with pate. The mains came, and they were disgusting, and one had caked on 2 inches of wet flour on the burger bun. They were luke warm. We sent them back, and I asked for a refund. We were refused and told bread often has flour on it. But this was inedible. I asked for the burger to be replaced, and this was refused. The woman speaking to us was rude and obnoxious, and her customer service skills were non-existent. My partner eventually became frustrated and swore, and we were thrown out of the restaurant after paying 40 quid. We eventually managed to get the rest replaced and sent to the room. This took more than an hour to arrive and was cold and the same meals we had sent back.
The place was awful and that member of staff wants sacked.
Very convenient for the airport (5 mins walk) & offers reasonably priced fly/parking packages. Rooms very clean, beds comfy.
There was a function in the dining room & a wedding in 1 of the function rooms, so it was difficult to get an evening meal. Next time I would ring beforehand & book if this is possible.
Parts of the hotel are little dated however as mentioned rooms spotlessly clean with comfy beds.
Value for money and happy hour good
Pillows and bed
Beds are horrible i give up and slept in the car
Beds smell dirt
Vicinity to airport
Beds: springs that poke in your back.
Distance to airport is good .
We always have a lovely room . This time the room needed to be refurbished . No 3 course meal on offer . It took 3 phone calls to get parking for 8 days .
The hotel is located very close to the airport terminal and offers the essentials for a quick layover.
The hotel and the room itself felt quite dated, especially the bathroom
Easy to get to, close to airport, reasonable price
Fan and some lights didn’t work and a musky smell
Excellent location, just a 5 min walk from the terminal. Room was spacious and bed was decent
No wake up call service at an airport hotel (had a very early flight), which was odd. I am not fussy in general and have stayed everywhere from hostels to 5 star hotels, but this place had black mold in the bathroom which is a health hazard.
Only booked a room as travelling to airport in the early hours. Had evening meal which was good and value for money Staff were very helpful.
Good staff
Very dated
