Pros:

Great location in a very nice and very lively part of Bristol. Nice view of the river. Breakfast to live piano music in the water front restaurant.

Cons:

The downside of the lively location: We stayed on a Saturday night and it was extremely noisy until far past midnight.

A large luxury room right on the riverside, would definitely book again.
Pros:

A centrally located hotel with good food, comfortable room and excellent staff
Pros:

Spacious room, very clean, bed was comfortable with good bedding, lovely thick towels, good size armchair and footstool to relax in. Tea-making (but see below) and coffee machine provided, and a nice handwritten card plus complimentary bar of chocolate to welcome us. Big window along whole length of room, with beautiful view over waterway and Bristol landmarks opposite. Within walking distance of lots of Bristol attractions and lovely to see the 'buzz' of Bristol life around the various waterfronts. Extremely welcoming and helpful staff (both before our arrival and during our stay). A good choice of food in the breakfast buffet, and the light and airy Riverside Grill was a lovely place to sit and eat at any time of day. Helpful to have parking in the multi-storey next door (albeit expensive, even with the hotel's reduction, and very awkward sharply curved ramp as well as narrow parking bays).

Cons:

Some bits of the room were showing their age - eg 'fogging' between panes of double glazing. For a room described as 'Deluxe' some aspects were surprising - very thin loo paper, very small supply of milk capsules (just 4, between 2 of us, to cover tea on arrival/evening drink/morning tea - though we were able to ask Housekeeping for more). And no luggage rack to put suitcases on even though there was space for one next to the desk.

Fantastic stay
Pros:

Perfect location to the harbourside. Warm friendly and informative welcome. Clean comfortable room with a lovely view. They also left a card and a little gift in the room for my wife's birthday. We enjoyed lovely cocktails and drinks, can't comment on the food as we didn't eat there but the restaurant looked lovely. We will definitely return.
