All was OK, just a few things to address.
Pros:

Staff were great. Reception area, lounge, bar and restaurant area lovely.

Cons:

Room was very small. Bathroom could do with a refresh, although clean, it looked worn in places.

Excellent hotel in the heart of Bristol!
Pros:

Location was excellent for exploring the city. The breakfast buffet had a great variety of hot and cold options. The bed and pillows were super comfy. We would stay here again!

Perfect hotel for our short stay in Bristol
Pros:

We were very fortunate and to delighted to receive a complimentary room upgrade (we were celebrating a special occasion) and it had wonderful views of the cathedral and city from it's vantage point on the 6th floor. The room itself was lovely and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel location was perfect for our one-night stay and we parked in the multi-storey car park next door for £19. We are very glad that we chose to have dinner in the restaurant, as it was delicious and very relaxed. The restaurant, where we also had a magnificent breakfast, had lovely views over the adjacent river. We had a marvellous stay at The Bristol Hotel and can thoroughly recommend it.

Cons:

We were experiencing a heatwave during our stay and unfortunately, the air conditioning in the room did not seem to work very efficiently but we didn't want to bother the staff late at night, so we coped with it.

Your staff, without exception were great.

Cons:

As a guest who has significant allergy issues. I commend your staff for attentiveness, as I left the premises alive, for that I thank you- however that said choice was made instantly limited due to the of decision of the premises only having Soya oil for cooking, and breakfast choice varied due to who happened to bet on. From day 1) really nice to day 4) a single slice of toast prepared by chef (no butter). Also my main meal on the last evening was filler steak and broccoli (no sauce, no carbs, no variety) yet I still paid full price. I realise my allergies are a pain, not least for me, and I genuinely appreciate I want hospitalised during my stay!!! Yet I can’t help but say ‘ could try harder’ is the score overall.
