Pros:

Good location, price, staff and restaurant. Let down by grubby room.
Pros:

Location was very good, parking convenient although pricey and staff were helpful and friendly. Price for central Bristol was good.

Cons:

We had a classic room in which it was difficult to get 2 people into the bathroom at the same time and the room badly needs refurbishing. Both the bedcover and the chair were stained and need cleaning/replacing and the bathroom has seen better days. Our room overlooked a fairly busy road...rooms overlooking the canal would have a better vista.

Great central location, excellent service.
Pros:

The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. I enquired about a fridge in my room which was immediately supplied at no cost. The room, though on the small side of cosy, had everything I needed and had a comfortable feel. There was a good choice of tea and coffee and proper biscuits in the room. Buffet breakfast was excellent. The location is totally central and with excellent waterfront views. Joggers will appreciate the ability to run for miles along the waterfront.

Great City Centre location but very noisy.
Pros:

Location was great - walkable from Bristol Temple Meads station and close to the places where I needed to be.

The hotel restaurant for dinner was great - perfect for a solo traveller with a good menu and great good.

Cons:

I had to change rooms. I wanted a room with openable windows - my first room was an internal room on the first floor with air conditioning plant roaring away that when I opened the window would have disturbed my sleep; the second room was higher up the building but on the street side so very noisy from traffic. The second room had secondary glazing and an air conditioning unit but the room was very warm so sadly, I didn't have a great night sleep.
