Very small room not fit for 2 people - very uncomfortable as a result.
Pros:

Good location, the reception area looked imposing. The bed was comfortable.

Cons:

BEWARE
The room was VERY small and should never be on their books as a double. If you are a single business person on an overnight stay this might just be OK.
However for a older couple staying for 3 nights it was extremely uncomfortable. If one of us had slipped down by the side of the bed we would have had real difficulty getting out. There is almost nowhere to store anything in particular a suitcase.
We were further disappointed that the staff listened to our concerns but made little or no effort to find a solution, even though we said we were happy to pay extra.
The Booking.com website describes this as a 'smaller' room. It isn't smaller, it is SMALL and not fit for 2 people!

Comfortable and ckean. Great food and good sized rooms.

Convenient location. On site parking. Good communal areas . Friendly , professional staff.

Cons:

Access to hotel from car park could be signed better. We walked down stairs and outside as didn't realise you coukd enter hotel direct.

Lovely stay in a fantastic lication
Pros:

Fantastic location. Very welcoming staff. Lobby is beautiful. Very clean. Great facilities in the room, including AC, good thick curtains to block light and sound.

Great hotel in the fab location
Pros:

As soon as we went in through the front door, the place smelt clean and inviting. The receptionist was great - really polite and explained everything thoroughly. She even changed the room we'd been allocated as we'd prefer a view over the canal. The room was spacious, clean, the bed was really comfy and the view over the eateries and the canal was fabulous. We only stayed for one night and could've easily stayed longer. The location was amazing as we were attending a concert in the amphitheatre - plenty of bars and restaurants were across the bridge too. Breakfast was nice, plenty of choice, but it was very busy between 9.15 and 9.30am and we had to wait for a table. Also some of the hot food choices were running low and needed replenishing. We would definitely return for a longer stay and there's an NCP right next door, so would probably drive next time.

I love where it's situated. The staff were wonderful, very clean, they did give me the room overlooking the harbor side. But the room was much smaller this time than last time..

I stayed at the Bristol hotel last year. The room was much larger last time. My room was much smaller for the same price.
