I appreciated the very quiet room with the skyline view ! Everything about my stay was perfect. Probably the best hotel in Bristol.
There was nothing I didn't like !
We booked last minute to have a night away, so I believe that's why the price was a little higher than expected. However, the room was lovely and clean, the bed was comfy and the staff were friendly and helpful. We also came with a dog, and the room was equipped with a dog bed, food & water bowls, and treats - which was all a really lovely extra that made it a great stay. Plus, the location is excellent - 5 minute walk from the docks and center. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
The main lounge & bar was not dog friendly, which was a shame as we would have liked to sit there for a drink in the evening. There is a separate small area that allows dogs, but it was away from the main area so felt a little 'side room'. But this was a small thing and certainly wouldn't stop me going back!

Room was very hot when trying to sleep. We did not opt for an air conditioned room as it was under 20 degrees Celsius at night but the room was incredibly hot and opening the windows meant we could not sleep because of the seagulls making a noise outside.

Booked 2 night stay. Enjoyed Bristol so decided to stay an extra night. Went to reception to see if could stay extra night. We were planning to have dinner at "Rick's" the on site restaurant. Was told that room was available. However, we were quoted rate way above on line availability. When questioned why couldn't at least match or better, bearing in mind we had already been in hotel for 2 nights and looking to book a Monday night, was told to book on line. Hasten to add we found somewhere else, and found a nice restaurant.

The reception smelt fresh and inviting and the staff were attentive, polite, friendly and genuinely pleasant.
bed was amazingly comfortable
the breakfast time was too busy, so we had the have a credit for cost, and go out of hotel , and go somewhere else for breakfast
