First time staying in this hotel. Very close to train station, 10 min easy walk into city centre.
Friendly welcome on arrival, no goodbye on leaving, even though member of staff was at reception, a simple goodbye & hope you had a nice trip, is all that is needed.
Room compact & dimly lit, but clean & pleasantly decorated. Has everything you need, wifi included. Beds large and very comfortable, perfect temperature in room, which is a rarity, had a great night's sleep! Breakfast room/bar very nice looking, although we didn't use it. There is a Wetherspoons on the same street which is good value for breakfast! Couple of hidden charges to be aware of, £2 added to breakfast if not pre booked day before, and £1 donation to a charity added to room bill, which we didn't mind, but hotel should be more transparent about it. After you have paid, there is a poster in the lift telling you about it.
All in all, would stay here again dependant on price, we come to York annually & have stayed in many different areas of the city.

Lovely room and large bathroom. Comfortable bed and perfect location.
We purposely chose this property for its location but also for the EV chargers! However! The hotel allows non electric vehicles to use these spaces and prevent anyone from using them to charge! We asked the receptionist about this and got a pointless answer.
Just a ten minute walk from the city centre, breakfast was very nice with a good choice. Very clean and modern

Tesis merkeze ve pub/yemek yerlerine uzaktı. Odada yerler halı ile kaplı ve içeri girdiğiniz an bir toz havası alıyorsunuz. Otel genel anlamda çok tıkış pıkış ve havasız hissettiriyor. Çalışanların kimisi çok iyiydi bize erken check in de sağladılar ama 25 Ağustos Akşamı otele döndüğümüzde çay/kahve almak istedik. Resepsiyondaki eleman önce oflana puflana geldi sonra gidin işte şurdan alın tarzında ağzının içinden içinden konuştu. anlam veremedik. Paramızla rezil olduk. Saçı başı da uykudan uyanmış gibiydi. Böyle kurumsal otellerde bu adamları görmek istemiyoruz.

Please get some firm pillows, they are too soft, squish into nothing. No substance to them, made my neck hurt, tried 2 wasn't any better.
Extremely noisy neighbours, kids screaming until 11pm, banging on the doors and slamming them. Not the fault of the hotel, just inconsiderate guests.
God location 10 mins from station and 10 mins from town.

Super clean and big room. The bath, the toilet, the sink all good.
The worst AC system I have ever seen! Every 30 minutes back to auto which is blowing hot and wet air:(
