If you like a rustic, up north, getaway feeling this is the place to go! From the moment you walk in the front doors, it’s cozy and welcoming. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful. The pool is fun and the rooms are clean with plenty of space. My family had a wonderful time and we would go back again. Thank you to Connie and all the wonderful staff.
This isn't your typical modernized hotel! This hotel has a log cabin feel to it, it's cozy and nostalgic. I love how the whole atmosphere flows throughout the hotel. You definitely cant find anything like this anymore! The staff is amazing and the service is prompt. Thank you guys for a wonderful stay.
We loved the cozy, rustic lobby decor. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. It was a comfortable and relaxing experience.
El hotele era confortable
The room and hotel was dirty and it had a stench.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Everything about the property was old and outdated including furniture, floor coverings, linens and style of the property
Well, I was in the room for about 3 minutes and when I flushed the toilet it squirted all over me. Then my sister asked me to stay with her because our mom was in the hospital so I checked out. My father js also in hospice care. The hotel said I needed to contact Expedia about a refund so I did. I explained to the hotel the incident of the toilet. After 3 more days the hotel refused to refund my room for two nights. Thr place is a pit and nothing like it used to be.
Out dated
The staff was very good from checking in to checking out. No issues with loud noises or others guests. This place was peaceful and we will definitely reserve again. The only complaint would be the handicap parking. It was a bit too far but we managed it. 😃
I booked a 2 Queen bedroom, but they were full size beds and they were usually lumpy and folded in. "BEWARE" THE HOTEL WILL CHARGE AN EXTRA $7.00 NON-REFUNDABLE FEE WHEN BOOKING THROUGH A 3RD PARTY". No elevator for the handicap (even though it was two floors) an elevator is a necessity; take a shower the water does not go down properly. Dried old food under the beds, stained sheets/pillowcases, the room did not smell fresh nor did the sheets. Towels and washcloths not clean, I had to go and buy my own. Even though there was free breakfast, the area was not cleaned consistently, limited food. The hallways of the hotel smelled old. Nothing about the place or the room are updated. Not even USB plugs to charge your electronics'. This room was not worth $157.00 for one night.
This is like a third world country. No people should be in this building. It felt like the owner was very not involved. I would like the health department to look into this. Where is the health department? I fell off the toilet seat. It was broken. I don't have time to write how everything is aweful.
what you would expect from an $80 hotel.
needs some work.
the pool is unique but outdated and a little messy with stuff laying around. staff was nice.
Great location, wonderful staff who helped us a great deal in an emergency, excellent continental breakfast. There is a pool although we didn’t use it.
Furniture was rather worn and the desk chair was broken. Hot tub was out of order.
This is an older hotel but is very clean and relaxing
The location was perfect
The breakfast could have been better there was an awful squeak when you turned the shower on.
Close to where I was at
Very hard to find and hard to get into
I asked for a loft I didn't get it I called the hotel they charged me too much I got it on Expedia I got it for a good deal I tried to stay there for the entire month week by week or two weeks at a time or the whole month there was no deal and then when I did schedule for 7 days it was almost $700 for the seven days I wanted to stay from Friday to Friday my wife divorced me my house flooded all my kids are grown and I'll be 54 in September I was trying to be somewhere where I'm safe I stayed there in 2010 when they were remodeling 2010-2011 I was working for the NBA I work for the fister hotel and I'll be concierge and security work and I do hotel in janitorial I even asked for a job and they put me out and we're not accept my further reservations very poor experience very very unhappy
The staff were very nice.
The room was not very clean, especially the bathroom floor.
I discovered at midnight that there were no sheets for the pull out couch and no remote control for the TV. We were in a loft room, the carpet on three of the stairs were loaded with staples that were sticking out. I have photos if you’d like to see them. I tripped & fell on a rug outside the back door that was all askew, another patron fixed it. The ‘breakfast’ was lackluster.
The Baymont Inn in Mequon, WI. We had reservations for 2 nights, and the clerk/manager checked us out after the first night without notifying us. They packed our belongings in dry-cleaning bags, stole our wine, and locked us out. They resold the room and said good luck.
