It’s always a wonderful time when we stay here.
Pros:

We absolutely love the property, the people are so friendly, always have smiles and are just so welcoming, the breakfast is always fantastic, the service is wonderful, they make you feel at home when your away from home. This is our go to when we come in, the pool sauna and jacuzzi all work well and it keeps the kids occupied, there’s also a little park for little ones on sight, a fire pit to sit around, the gym area is nice for a quick workout as well, a gazebo to relax in, lots of parking, and comfortable beds! I will say Will and Shirley are OUR TOP TWO! They are the BEST, they are a MUST SEE when we come in, they are like our family . The front desk has incredible people as well, I don’t like to name people cause you always forget one and I don’t want that to happen here, but I want them to be recognized because their work isn’t unnoticed, and it’s not always an easy job but we do appreciate them and their hard work. The house keepers they do a good job cleaning and when we stay I usually ask for the towels and bedding and do my own cleaning but I ALWAYS leave them a tip for their hard work cause it’s appreciated by us. I love this hotel because of the people and the way it’s remodeled it’s beautiful! Walking in just sings to your soul!

Cons:

I’m not sure if the parking lot is getting re done but the pavement is a mess. Which I am sure it will but for now that’s the only problem we have found.

Clean, Modern and Wonderful Property!
Pros:

Very well maintained, and clean property recently renovated . Especially the indoor pool and hot tub areas. Friendly staff and quick easy check in processing, Lastly, enjoyed the warm chocolate chip cookies. I highly recommend this premium property of choice.

Staff dont care about your needs.
Pros:

Clean hotel, rooms remodeled. Very nice.

Cons:

Booked a king room but got a double. Moved rooms, new room the front door looked like it had been kicked in and was severely damaged, you could see in the room while standing in hall with door was shut. Told lady at counter and acted like she didn't care. Didn't write anything down, didn't offer a discount, nothing.

Great Place.
Pros:

This hotel has had a complete renovation.
Hailey at the front desk was very professional and helpful. It was a huge improvement over the last time I stayed at this hotel.
The entire first floor is like being in a brand-new hotel. My room was perfect.
The bar and restaurant staff was great.
We had the privilege of meeting Jerry Mitchell the GM. He is a hands-on guy and takes a lot of pride in his hotel.

Horrible.... Will never stay at the place again.

Cons:

Rooms were together but they allowed another guest to take over one of my rooms.. Doors didn't lock. No Microwaves, no fridges, no phones. Safety concerns because there were rooms with only curtains and no doors right next to the elevators so anything could have happened to anyone walking past. I've stated a lot of DoubleTree hotels but this was by far the worst I've ever stayed at.

Great location, horrible service
Pros:

Nice and clean

Cons:

The TV didnt work. They said they'd send someone up to look at it and never did. Then the wifi kept going in and out so we had no TV or radio or anything. I also pre-checked in as a Holton Honors member and they changed my room after I pre checked in. Not impressed with the service.

Beautiful renovations and great location
Pros:

Property & Renovations: The property is beautiful, modern, clean, and the recent renovations were beautifully executed. The lobby smells fantastic.

Staff & Service: The check-in agent was great and very welcoming.

Amenities & Room: The pool area is incredibly spacious, filled with natural light, and offers plenty of seating. The shower in the room also has great water pressure.

Location: The location is gorgeous, peaceful, and tucked away, yet still conveniently close to everything you need.

Cons:

WiFi Issues: There was no WiFi available for the majority of the weekend (Saturday and Sunday before checkout), which is a major issue if you rely on it for work or streaming.

Room Service Information: Although informed that room service was available, there was no menu or instruction guide provided in the room on how to actually order it.

Room: Upon first arriving, the hotel room door was found left slightly ajar. After spending two nights, I learned the door doesn’t shut completely without you manually pushing it shut.

Pros and Cons
Pros:

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. We paid extra for the daily buffet breakfast and it was definitely worth it. Delicious fresh options and attentive staff. We ate one dinner at the hotel's bar/ bistro. Food, drinks and server were all very good.
We spent extra for a suite and was very disappointed. The "living room" was sparsely furnished. The floor lamp no where near the couch was useless. The microwave in the bedroom was inappropriate. Not enough lighting in the living room. Only one chair for the small table, etc..
The bed was comfortable, the shower was hot but the wall bottle of conditioner was empty, if the room had a pad/pen I would have left a note.I went to use the phone but no directions as to what ext. to press for any dept, just a blank phone.
Everywhere inside the hotel was clean.
The parking lot still had dumpsters and needs resurfacing
