Location
No negatives
Location as my husband was in the adjoining Hospital for heart bypass surgery
No negatives. I stayed for a week and didn’t always use the restaurant, could microwaves be rented from reception for longer term guests
Food was okay
Pool was closed nothing on website
Room was terrible noise of a generator was horrendous couldn't sleep had to go and ask at 11pm to move rooms so bad
Lovely double bedroom with a separate sitting room. Huge bathroom with a bath tub and separate walking shower. Also double wash hand basins.
Unfortunately the swimming pool was out of action. Also the view from the bedroom was looking onto the rooftop of the hotel.
Rooms were good
Pool closed receptionist didn’t give a damn. Didn’t attempt to offer a feature of good will or even really care
Clean and good car parking
Great selection to choose from cooked really well 👌 very tasty great staff and very helpful.
Lovely hotel and lovely locstion.
The food was a bit disappointing.
Clean, beautiful room, great shower, lovely restaurant, friendly staff
Nothing
convenience while my hubby was in having triple bypass x
the price on booking.com was cheaper than re booking at hotel reception
Good location for visiting our mum in Old Kilpatrick. My sister and I travelled up from Eastbourne to see our sick mum and needed nearby accommodation, so location wise, it was perfect, and we had a room with a lovely view of the Clyde.
We were extremely disappointed to find that the pool would be closed for the duration of our two night stay because the chlorine levels were not as they should be. This in itself felt like a lame excuse. We wanted a hotel with a pool; which is always an extra expense and a requirement that needs to be met in line with my consumer rights. We were told we could still use all the other facilities; the gym, sauna and steam room. The hotel information provided via the TV in our room stated the facilities closed at 10pm. At around 9.20pm I left my room and went down for a sauna before bed as I suffer from psoriatic arthritis and find relief from the heat. There was a sign outside the gym entrance saying last entry at 9pm. I assumed this meant the gym and pool, and made my way to the changing rooms. Once in my swim suit and about to enter the sauna, I was abruptly stopped by a member of staff who blocked my entrance to the sauna and said I would need to leave as they begin cleaning at 9.30pm. I explained that I only needed 10-15 minutes in the sauna and that I was a hotel guest. The facility operates a gym membership program so I understand if I had wanted to shower etc. but all I asked for, and I even said please could you just let me in this occasion; I was emphatically told that it would not be possible and to come back at 6.30 am in the morning.
My sister and I checked out the next day a night early; very very poor customer care, particularly considering that it’s part of an NHS hospital. Actually, I don’t know why I am surprised.
Good parking , easy to find , excellent restaurant, exceptionally clean The most amazing breakfast buffet.
The outdoor space, the bar and the excellent service by all staff

As usual, the size, comfort and cleanliness of the rooms. Lovely, sizable bathroom and brilliant shower!
Hot breakfast items are not the best (bacon like leather) but the lunches and evening meals are excellent and incredibly good value!
Nitpicking, but the 'tea and coffee' were awful! Both had that 'cheap and nasty' taste!
First time ever it's been so bad!
