The staff are nice, they did change my room pretty quickly then when I complained again, a microwave was brought to me within 10 mins.
I got checked into my room which was a self contained cottage. There was no wardrobe, no fridge, no microwave, no utensils and the plug sockets are miles away from the bed. I was then moved to another cottage (after waiting in the original one for 30 mins for a manager to come and help me, who never showed up) which had no microwave AGAIN and the tv didn't work. The heating also didn't work so they had to bring me a heater. The staff were nice but it seems very disorganised and it's extortionate to stay there at £350 for a 2 night stay. Especially when I haven't been provided with anything to cook with or nowhere to hang my clothes up. They need to check these rooms beforehand to make sure everything is working has all the amenities.
Cleanliness was poor .no teaspoon to make tea . Did an upgrade but was exactly the same as a standard room , apart from connecting door which aloud noise in from next room which made it very noisy. Poor value for upgrade price . Room scruffy.
Nice space and good food
Very very noisy, I was expecting a full
Night sleep but only for a few hours as could here the people next to me talk and doors slamming all night. By 6 am I got up to leave as was so tired
Room was dirty and no shampoo.
Thought breakfast was very basic no boiled eggs or fried eggs or omelette breakfast was not very warm but enjoy the sausage and toast
We were in a cottage and it was nice but no hairdryer and no iron
Big room
Price of a 5* but it was actually a 2/3*
Place was a state! Looked like a building site where nobody cleaned up! Smashed up rooms. Our room was not clean and keys didnt work in door.
Looked like the place was still derelict
Lovely hotel , very clean and great location
My 14 year old daughter was attending the pageant that was held we where staying at one of the cottages that where lovely but when leaving the cottage to go to the venue I noticed one of the housekeepers ( male ) recording her walking up the path . I looked back to look at him for him just to keep his phone and call his mate over to stare felt very uncomfortable
