Lovely hotel

Toilet not clean no toilet brush, no plug for bath, sink not draining and no plug, under bed foil ball containing residual food. 2?armchairs pushed against wall too heavy to move.

Dinner and breakfast were good. Nice fresh melon and strawberries for breakfast while sitting in the conservatory enjoying the view!
The room was quite dark and cold. Fortunately electric heaters were provided. There was no wardrobe or hangers to hang clothes. It is a beautiful building but it could do with a lick of paint especially the front door!
Everything! This is our upcoming wedding venue so we do come and stay because we love it, the food is lovely the beds are very comfortable the staff are friendly and they have everything you need
If I could change anything it would be that they allow cats and not just dogs and I’d bring my cats ha
Beautiful location
The room was not clean, the bed had not been moved in a long time and there was an extension cable behind it very dusty skirting boards and carpet. No view out the window only a tall wall and the window when opened for air as very hot wasn’t secure. Strange walking through the dining room to get to our room. Corridor smelt of smoke and side cupboards had multiple holes doors needed replacing.
The restaurant was lovely as were the staff, especially one waitress. Friendly and efficient.
Outside area,tired and not inviting.
The location of Hollin House is the reason we come back - sheep and lambs outside the hotel, close to a lovely walk to White Nancy
The "economy" room looks out on a wall with a couple of dead plant growing up it.
The hotel was well run and organised. The staff were friendly and professional.The breakfast and evening meals were of good Quality, well cooked and delivered quickly
