The floors were very dirty! Carpet was old & dirty & so we're the bathroom floors! The shower had no grab bars & the shower head was awful! The doors to the room were horrible! If my husband hadn't been with me I wouldn't have been able to get out! Doors were rusty & the locks stuck every time you shut the door! The mattress was sagging & had no support. The room was stinky. This place is very old & dingy & in bad need of an upgrade!
Great location, clean with friendly staff.
No complaints
Clean and by the lake
Wish there was access INTO the building through the side doors. I use a cane, so it was a bit of a struggle carrying things in and out through the front doors all the way around to the room. There was no phone in the room though. And housekeeping came in when you weren’t even in the room.

They canceled my reservation and left me with 0 accommodation no phone call or email when we arrived they said there was a cancellation with no explanation
We stayed here for a single night, a Saturday. I've always had good experiences with Best Westerns and there didn't seem to be alot of choices in Port Clinton. The price was very steep. $251, that's including all the fees and taxes. Yikes on bikes. Very very basic room. Should have been more like $79 range. The pictures online look much nicer than it really is. Our room was on the first floor. In the back, so we had an exterior door that we could use, right off our room. I'm thinking oh, that's convenient for unpacking our suitcases. We drive around and the line of exterior doors to the rooms are open and people are just hanging around. Doors propped open, you can see into every room, people laid out on their beds. I'm not sure if everybody knew each other, but it seemed like we crashed a party. lol We grabbed the suitcase and got into our room and stayed in. You could hear all the noise from around you all night. I really expected more for what we had to pay. Our reservation had a cancelation policy and we were outside of that, plus I had already paid. Otherwise we would have been gone. But we made the best and we won't stay at this particular BW again.
I chose this hotel because of it's location. Breakfast was standard budget hotel fare.
Teeny tiny bottles of shampoo. Not even enough in it for one person's head. We had to ask for more.

Convenient to my destination.
Great centralnlocation close to portnclinton as well as access to islands. Rooms were clean and good hot breakfast. We had king room only downfall was bed was hard as a rock.
Breakfast was good. A nice varity of food choices.
N/A
Probably the quietest hotel in which I've ever stayed. Only knew there were other guests due to the parking lot being full every night when we came back from a day out.
Hotel in general is a bit outdated even though it has been recently remodeled. Our king size mattress definitely needed to be replaced (huge hump in the middle and weak on either side). Glad we bought an extension cord as there are not enough outlets next to the bed for modern day electronic charging and CPAP needs.
Close to Anchors Away Marina.
The bed was a little bit hard.
Nothing
Smelled like wet dog, moldy, and a tremendous amount of hair in the bed that clearly was not washed from the previous guest. Very unresponsive staff and lack of care to do anything to help the situation.
Neat, clean room for a great price.
Have no grievances. Our stay was great.
