Badlands Inn & Suites

The smell in the room was not very pleasant-- although having the window all night helped a great deal.

no hair dryer, staff only available through phone- no one at the front desk. We thought there would be a free breakfast.

Front desk unattended

The property is old and in dire need of updates. The lobby smelled strongly of smoke, and there were numerous cigarette butts lining the curbs on the side of the motel where we went in. Very unsightly. While the desk person was very friendly, we dis have to wait several minutes for him to get to the stinky lobby after calling for him. The bathroom was clean, but needs improvements. I had originally booked a king room, but our grandson decided to come with us. They didn't have a rollaway bed or couch, so I asked if there was a room available with two QUEEN beds. We were told there was, but when we got to the room, it was two full sized beds. Not much room for two adults, but the bed was comfortable and we were tired, so slept well anyway.

Hallways smelled like mildew, room never got cleaned, side door of building wasn't locked, overall poor quality and poor service

It took 20 minutes of waiting before someone check us in, there’s was nobody at the front

Could have been cleaner

Wish they would have had coffee available in the rooms, or in the reception area.

Could be cleaner.. No coffee no breakfast, no real amenities!!

It was not super great that there was no smoke alarm in the room and the window crank was broken so the window did not open.

Wasn't clean no towels no staff

Power went out.

They need to update the towels the white towels where yellowish and very thin

I’m glad i didn’t have to shower, it didn’t look clean, neither did the sink, i tryed wiping it down but there were just stains all over it. The walls had weird things on it like stains or it looked like snot. The place was very noisy, lots of weird buzzing noises and you could here the people making noise in the hallways and banging from upstairs. not to mention my window view of a run down pool area with dirt, tables and chairs everywhere, just ugly and weird.

The hotel is dirty and smells moldy. The sheets on the bed were worn and scratchy, the soap holder had fallen off the wall of the shower and was just simply laying in the bathtub,there was mold on the shower caulking, there were also burn holes in the carpet. After we checked in, there was never anyone at the front desk, and although we spoke to someone on the phone, we were not allowed to change our reservation.

The room was completely dirty. Smelled bad, stained walls and sheets. The shower had garbage in it and was also not cleaned. The floor definitely was not vacuumed.
