We're looking forward to welcoming you to Inn by the Sea Hotel in beautiful La Jolla, CA.

We'd like to inform you that between November 10, 2025 through August, 2026, we will be undergoing our rooms and corridor renovations. This work is part of our commitment to enhancing our service, guest experience, and the beauty of the hotel.

RENOVATIONS HOURS ARE:
Monday through Saturday, 8AM - 5PM.
There will be periodic noise during work hours, and you will see and hear some of our renovations occurring.
All hotel facilities and amenities will remain fully open and operational during these times.

We wholeheartedly apologize for any disturbances that you may see or hear but we are hopeful it will only be for brief periods of time during your stay with us.

Excellent and wonderful!!!
Pros:

The property is walking distance to Downtown La Jolla where the night life is. Very good restaurants like Dukes and Georges.

I love walking to Better Buzz for or coffee early in the morning and breakfast at Richard Walkers which, by the way, are just next to each other.

The staff at the Inn by the Sea are very friendly and helpful. There was construction going on when we were there July 1 and 2 however did not bother at all. Dis not hear anything to bother our sleep.

Very much recommended!!!

Other than the construction, which we were made aware of well in advance, everything was perfect. The room, the staff, the area. Can’t beat this hotel.

Pros:

The check-in process was top notch. After a 4+ hour drive the staff worked together to allow us to check-in early so we could unpack our 6 year old and easily change him for the pool. One of the cleanest hotels we have been in. Everyone working there was welcoming. Thank you!

It was a relaxing and peaceful
