Location is exceptional in Ipanema quarter and on the beach close to Vincinius show bar for Bossa nova concert and a lot of good restaurants Restaurant of the hotel can help you on first day but go out!
Poor wifi, personel not really warming (when you pay this price you expect a bit of nice words and saying hello in the morning only exception the cleaning lady) you pay for water and capsules of nespresso in the room (no gift even for this price) breakfast in Brazilian standards nothing exceptional. Room a bit old furnished and always smell in the room.

L'emplacement est absolument idéale, sur la plage d'Ipanema et au coeur des quelques rues sympas du quartier. C'est un critère de choix pour Rio qui est une très grande ville et où beaucoup de quartiers ne sont pas aussi simples à vivre que Ipanema. Un de nos enfants a été malade et l'hôtel a trouvé une solution pour nous laisser une chambre durant une journée, c'était vraiment appréciable et cool.

The lobby is minimal and doesn't offer a pleasant place to relax or work.
Lovely hotel in a great location. We really enjoyed the rooftop bar for the views at sunset. The drinks were inexpensive and the bartender was attentive and efficient. There was limited seating on the rooftop, but it created some conviviality.
The breakfast buffet was good and the view of the beach from the dining room was stunning. It's a great start to the day.
Service throughout the hotel was excellent.
The room was quiet, clean and comfortable. There was adequate storage space for luggage and a nice closet. The bathroom was a bit small and there was not much shelf space. We had some difficulty controlling the shower temperature.
Do yourself a favor and explore the neighborhood around the hotel (not just the beachfront). There were some great restaurants going a few blocks inland.
