The bedroom was very quiet and the bed was very comfortable. We had a good nights sleep. Breakfast staff were very friendly and helpful.
Prior to my visit I was advised that the jacuzzi was out of action, but was very disappointed that I couldn’t use the sauna and steam room either. I feel that I should have been advised of this too. One of the local ladies said that they didn’t seem to be prioritising the repair of the spa either, but had focused on chopping down four lovely trees at the entrance to the car-parking to make a water feature.
Also I didn’t take my changing robe because it clearly states in the spa information section that a dressing gown and towels will be provided. However, although there are folded up dressing gowns in the glass panels of the reception desk in the spa, when I asked for the use of one I was told that “we don’t give out dressing gowns for use anymore”.

We had a lovely Time at the parkway hotel our Room was amazing and very comfortable and the staff were absolutely brilliant 👏 and we can't wait to book again and we also want to Thank the bar staff 😀 especially IEUAN for his service he's Amazing, and The chef For the beautiful Food, Also the lady's on Reception who were 100% Brilliant and Jane, Thank you everyone at the parkway hotel for making our stay beautiful 😍 one last thing to Add, next time we book we will ask for a Room near the reception 😀 long walk from the room, which kept us fit 😀 thank you everyone at the parkway hotel, your all wonderful and keep up the good work 👏

I liked how cosy everything was and how plush the room felt .Lovely bedding pillows and quilts .Also extremely clean
The spa facilities werent great
The pent house suite is beautiful so modern and spottlessly clean 😊 we have been coming to the parkway for years we love it ❤️
Unfortunately on this occasion the heating didn't work so was a bit cold ❄ and the pillows aren't great! But they did bring us a few more? Just not very good quality 😬

Apart from
A horrendous mattress - it had a ridge right in middle, I tried to resolve it. but I ended up sleeping at an angle- not comfortable at all
It was great. Nice friendly atmosphere, helpful staff, lovely dinner. Room comfortable and quiet.
Had breakfast in the cafe. Excellent coffee but the sausage roll was dried up sausage on sweet tasting bread
My 3rd visit and find the hotel to be a great base to visit family in the area plus have that bit of luxury with the spa. Breakfast is very good and more than you can comfortably eat with lots of choice.
Room way way too warm with no way to turn down the heat other than to force the window open. Beds were comfy but again the duvets were way too warm so spent most of the night outside the covers. Personal preference I know but no option to change.
The grounds were lovely and the large reception area with its roaring log fire was extremely comfortable and absolutely buzzing with groups of friendly locals all enjoying the great food and drinks on offer. All in all, a wonderful, welcoming place with helpful, chatty staff who couldn't do enough for you. Will definitely return. 10/10
