The ability to be able to check in very late at night.

The garden suite was large with an outside patio area and large en suite.
No air conditioning! No EV charging!
The hotel is conveniently close to Newport. It is spacious and friendly. Our room was large and quiet. There uis plenty of parking and the recpetionist was very helpful and professional.
There were no facilites to get a hot beverage after the bar closed. The netrance to the hotel is hard to discerne in the dark and we missed it twice. I needs a big way in sign. The new payment system at the bar slowed everything down and was frustrating when the hotel became busy.
Lovely grounds and stunning flowering baskets and pots.
My only minus was that our television did not work and despite me mentioning this and the assurance that someone would come to sort this out, no one turned up.

Room not cleaned on second day stated we had do not disturb on door but we left room at 10-45 am and didnt return to room till 7pm

Lovely spacious hotel, beautiful gardens, great facilities, friendly staff, delicious food 100% Highly recommended and we will definitely be booking again.

All the staff was brilliant and friendly and polite and a great place to relax and chill. The room was very quiet and did not hear a sound at night, the beds were comfy and the room had everything that you needed. The food was very good during the day and you had a great choice at breakfast that you could not fault. We did use the swimming pool etc and was giving as many towels that we needed.

Very friendly, lovely hotel. Great breakfast. We had Sunday lunch which was lovely - the staff are really good. Location good for seeing Metallica at Cardiff - train station up the road & a bargain in comparison to other hotels.
Excerlent breakfast very good verity .lovely restaurant very clean.
All things were likeable.
All the meals I had there were nice. I opted for the bar menu in the evening. For breakfast I asked the kitchen to cook me some poached eggs which were lovely.
