Een sfeervol pand op een toplocatie met fijn personeel en goed ontbijt.
Pros:

Wij hadden ruim 40 jaar geleden hier ooit overnacht voor onze huwelijksreis. Dan is het wel heel bijzonder als men ons exact dezelfde kamer geeft als destijds! Complimenten hiervoor😀. En we werden ook nog verrast met een handgeschreven felicitatiekaart en een doosje bonbons. Een prachtig begin van ons bezoek.
De ligging is natuurlijk geweldig, direct aan het Vrijthof. De auto geparkeerd op de P&R Noord (tip: koop geen kaartje uit de automaat, maar check gewoon in met je pinpas, is iets goedkoper als je toch maar een enkele reis moet maken).
De lift in het hotel is een historische, gaat ook heerlijk langzaam. Wij genoten ervan.
De medewerkers waren allemaal zonder uitzondering zeer vriendelijk.
De eerste ochtend hadden we een uitstekend ontbijtbuffet, de tweede ochtend werd het ontbijt aan tafel geserveerd. Dat deed niet onder voor het buffet, je mocht alles bestellen. Voordeel was wel dat alles vers gemaakt werd.

Cons:

Hooguit dat de ramen niet erg geluidsdicht waren, er kwam veel lawaai vanaf het Vrijthof naar binnen. Deels had dit te maken met de tijd (week voor carneval).

Pros:

The hotel is very well situated and the staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also very good.

The room was rather badly isolated as we could hear some noises (probably from the pipes or others).

Perfekte Lage mitten im Zentrum, alles fußläufig zu erreichen. Großes, sauberes Zimmer, mit guter Kaffee Kapsel Maschine, großes sauberes Bad. Sehr nettes Personal, gutes Frühstück.
Nachdem wir unser Gepäck in der Lobby abgegeben hatten, haben wir unter der Kennedybrücke beim PW, Park & walk Parkplatz für einen Tagestarif von 14,50 € geparkt. Fußläufig 15 :Minuten vom Hotel. entfernt.
Wir waren sehr zufrieden und würden wieder dort buchen.

Mooi hotel in een mooie stad.
Pros:

Erg goede ligging in het midden van de stad, wat 's nachts natuurlijk wel wat geluidsoverlast met zich meebrengt. Bij de inrichting werden vele prachtige elementen behouden van het oude gebouw, toch voelt het niet gedateerd aan. Erg mooie ontbijtruimte met zicht op het Vrijthof en met een uitgebreid en gezond ontbijt.

Cons:

Doordat er iets achter de verwarming gevallen was in de badkamer, zag ik dat het daar helemaal niet proper was, erg veel stof kwam er van achter en dat was de volgende dag nog niet gepoetst hoewel het overal in de badkamer lag.

Cons:

Bij het inchecken 2 stellen voor ons, bleek dat die allemaal een upgrade kregen naar een deluxe kamer. Toe wij aan de beurt waren vroeg ik of wij dat ook kregen. Aangezien de andere dat ook krijgen. Lucas gaf lachend aan jullie krijgen ook een upgrade. Bleek dus geen upgrade te zijn maar gewoon de standaard kamer.

De voorkant van het hotel staat op booking.com dus het was even zoeken. Dat is misleidend. Evenals de belofte voor prive parking. Wees eerlijk over wat je aanbiedt.

Ik slaap met regelmaat in hotel in Maastricht, dat zal hier niet meer zijn. Jammer want de ligging is goed en lucas is een goede medewerker.
