We reserved the hot tub suite, the room smelled like mildew, the AC unit would not go low enough and my wife and myself felt ill for over a week 2 days before leaving, felt that the ac unit was not cleaned, also there was only a chair in the room, no couch and had to lay on the bed to see the TV from a wierd angle sure hope that we Here from someone regarding this issue

Overall, we felt this hotel was a very good value for our money and we will use Baymont again.
Pros:

Comfortable bed and pillows, AC worked well and was fairly quite. Room was quite and roomy. The fridge in our room was good and cold. Breakfast was good. Staff was friendly. It had a decent pool and hot tub.

Cons:

The website for the hotel said we needed a $250 CASH deposit at check-in, which didn't sound right to me. I called to confirm this and was told again that we needed it. So my husband made a special trip to the bank to get cash. When we arrived, no one asked us for a cash deposit or any deposit. That was frustrating and a waste of our time. Hotel was extremely humid and a little outdated and needed some repairs. Some of the holes for the shower curtain rod were ripped out so that the curtain couldn't close fully and the bathroom floor got soaked during showers. There was a repair started on the bathroom wall where an old towel rod had been, but was never sanded or painted. The faucet on the sink was extremely scratched up and damaged and it leaked when turned all the way up. And the fire alarm in our room went off at 5:30 in the morning due to a malfunction, which scared us to death! Pool and hot tub were in desperate need of paint.

Pros:

Loved the shower and shower pressure/ temp. Hot tub was good. Breakfast staff and front desk staff on saturday and sunday were nice and helpful.

Cons:

Was a little more run down than I expected for the price. Wasn't expecting the indoor pool to be that cold. Was a little worried about the side/back door being accessible without having to use the hotel key to enter. The greeting we received when we first arrived was not pleasant - I was expecting a welcoming and happy "HI welcome how can I help you". .. But it was super late when we checked in so I guess thats understandable. The hotel stay was more like an $80/night hotel versus a $123/night hotel.
