beautiful colonial style room
Bon emplacement, style ancien préservé, chambre bien équipée
Pas d'ascenseur pour monter les bagages au 1er étage, salle de bain désuète
Excellent staff. Clean room. Interesting place to stay. Great location.
Spends breakfast.
Great location. Clean room.
Breakfast could be better with fresh vegetables
The location was very good - the room was pretty and I appreciated the king bed. The lobby was beautiful and love they rebuilt. Our room was on the balcony floor and we had access to a small table and chairs to enjoy the view and our wine!
The room was too small for the size of the bed. No area or enough floor space to open suitcases except on the bed. Difficult getting from one side to the bathroom. AC was only ok. Room was still warm and a bit stuffy
Room was very big clean and spacious, close to the lake, within walking distance of the restaurants.
Unfortunately the pools and the carpark were not open, which we only found out on check in
The historic building
The apartments (although beautifully appointed), only had one aircon unit in one bedroom, which is not sufficient for the whole unit.
Great staff, great location, rooms were big and spacious. Would stay here anytime we are in Rotorua.
Hotel ligt vlakbij een park en op loopafstand van het meer. Er zijn veel restaurants in de buurt. Ruime kamer en een fijn bed.
Beautiful hotel. Clean. Beds are very comfortable. Coffee/tea and fresh milk etc was a super touch , decor in the bedrooms very cosy.
Nothing.
Lovely building with outside access to the rooms. Great location. Lovely area to sit outside the rooms on the balcony of the veranda.
Spa facilities were out of action. I was given free access to the Polynesian Spa but only to the (loud!) family area which is a small swimming pool and a heated small pool within a walled area. With a NZ$50 upgrade fee I was able to access the 5 lakeside pools.
The rooms aren’t sound proofed.
das historische Haus
nichts
Central location to attractions. Comfortable room.
Check in the receptionist questioned our booking of a 2 bedroom. When I mentioned that was all booking.com showed her attitude was ‘too bad for you can’t change now’. Very condescending and rude. Then proceeded to tell us the pool was under repair, nothing about that on booking even though that was one of our reasons for booking there. We were comped 1/2 price entry to Polynesian Spa. A sad attempt to compensate a rate reduction would have been appreciated. But at least I could watch tennis on the TV, nope really only a monitor not connected to internet. The internet which was woefully inadequate as well.
We made the best of this disappointment.
