Freshly cooked eggs - took ages to arrive and then were so hard (poached eggs) that I didn’t even attempt to eat them.

Staff weren’t very friendly, when checking in the lady wasn’t very welcoming, didn’t ask us if we wanted to book breakfast or if we needed anything else.
Compared to when I stayed here before the service levels have dropped a lot.
I had pre contacted the hotel to let them know we are celebrating our anniversary, I had a response to say something will be left in the room for us as a special touch, when we arrived there was nothing.
The room was very small, no space to walk once there are two beds in the room!
We were attending an event and the air conditioning in the function room wasn’t working, on an extremely hot day this was very uncomfortable for all guests attending.
The staff were very friendly and professional. The bedroom was very clean and had everything one could need for a comfortable stay. Breakfast was adequate.
The coffee machine at breakfast produced awful, almost undrinkable coffee, and there were bits on the bar lounge carpet.
