Main reasons for choosing this hotel were the free on site parking (big car park) and air conditioning in room (we were in the middle of a heatwave and several other hotels did not have a/c).
Room was a good size, very comfortable and clean. Excellent shower.
Staff were all friendly.
Good bar & restaurant. Food menu had lots of choices and portions were generous. Prices felt a little expensive but that might just be me living in the past as i don't eat out a lot.
Room price was very reasonable though, giving excellent overall value for money.

This is the second time we are staying at this hotel and both times, our room didn’t have a functioning television. The first time, we didn’t have the ability to watch anything or hear anything as it just didn’t turn on. We finally managed to get someone to look at it and they just pressed the on off switch and then dismissed it. The second visit, we thought we’d give the hotel the benefit of doubt and returned again, to find that this time, the television had sound but no picture. We came with a view to watch the World Cup whilst travelling but this came to an immediate stand still when there was no television functioning. After spending ten minutes trying to ring reception and then having to ring the central reservation team to get reception connected to us, we managed to get someone to check our television. Again, a few buttons were pressed and switched off/on with no resolution. We were allocated a new room at 11.30pm with a tv that was pixelated and offered free breakfast. When going down for breakfast after a late night of room switching and having to settle back in, we were not told that it is only served until 9am so we went down at 9.10am and there was nothing to be found. We were offered a plate of two hash browns, a splash of beans, runny mushrooms and two half cooked fried eggs, of which all were probably just the left overs that hadn’t been thrown out yet. We asked for a cup of tea and the machines were all turned off and then to add insult to injury, the room that we were asked to sit in was very loud with a meeting / conference so we couldn’t even have our cold breakfast in peace. One man in particular was very rude, loud and obnoxiously speaking to the person opposite him and even she mentioned that she was not deaf and he didn’t need to raise his voice.
Great value hotel, good sized room, comfy bed, great air con in heat & friendly staff!
Small things in the room weren’t very clean, a lot of marks on the chair, shower wasn’t cleaned thoroughly & marks left on tea cups. The tv wasn’t connecting to anything either so had limited access even when asked staff. Also took about 10 mins for staff to appear for check in which wasn’t the best after travelling but nothing to really complain about.
