The bedroom and bathroom were luxurious!
The room, we booked a standard double, was larger than expected with a five foot double bed, seating, desk and chair. Roomy bathroom with walking shower. We had an excellent evening meal in the restaurant. Breakfast was good with an excellent choice of precooked items.
We had booked a one night stay with breakfast and an evening meal. Altogether I received fourteen emails concerning our booking which I thought was a little excessive. Wouldn’t put me off a return visit though as we both enjoyed the experience.
Breakfast was very nice good food nice and hot good choice
There wasn’t anything that I didn’t like everything was lovely
A lovely warm welcome by the staff on reception, the place is beautiful and the room we stayed in was spacious and relaxing, just what we need needed. The breakfast options were outstanding and fresh considering what was on offer.
The upgrade request process wasn't what I expected, I submitted my sliding scale options and was informed in the process that I would find out upon check in at the hotel if I had been successful, but the lady on reception wasn't able to find nor confirm anything and said I should have had an email.
The staff. Can’t fault the staff
The WiFi could do with a booster the tv is pointless if you can’t use it.
Rooms are spacious, bathrooms well equipped. We had a standard room which was easily big enough for us. Suite’s apparently are larger with all sorts of facilities. Ample parking on site. Bus stop outside 10 mins to Donny and about the same to Bawtry. Staff professional and helpful. It’s likely that when we go racing this will be our go to option.
There is a pub style bar advertised which is supposed to be open Fridays/Saturday but when we’ve stayed it wasn’t so we had a drink in the restaurant waiting area/ bar instead. If it’s advertised it really should be open. Possibly a staffing issue.
Breakfast was plentiful but a bit hit and miss quality wise.
Welcoming warm and good service
A bit dated in areas no mini bar on suites and minor lack of things on suite such as refreshments toiletries etc for price paid
Duży ładny pokój, ogromna łazienka z prysznicem i wanną, czysto.
I liked everything, probably one of the best hotel rooms I have stayed in for £330 a night, there was a whirlpool tub, sauna and steam room in the room, (in the caldara suite) I Really enjoyed my stay thanks
Nothing
It’s no better the a premier inn breakfast.
Asked for poached eggs and it took two chase ups by which time the breakfast was cold on my plate.
No Guinness on tap just cans and quite frankly very disappointing. The bar was shared with afternoon tea leaving poor seating at 4.30pm
