Akra Fethiye The Residence Tui Blue Sensatori - Ultra All Inclusive - Adults Only

Amazing place. Staff were perfect, everything was super clean and comfortable.
Particular mention for Firat at the Amber restaurant, I mentioned I was vegetarian and he went out of his way to ensure I had the best experience.
Italian not my fav, Asian pretty good.
Hiring a cabana levelled up the experience, felt super luxe would definitely recommend. We had Czemi as our server twice and he was so attentive and made the day perfect.
My only negative is the shower/bath combo in our room- at 5’3” it was a struggle to climb in and out safely and I have a massive bruise on one leg from a slip. It’s not safe for anyone with mobility challenges.
Fresh orange juice at the breakfast buffet anywhere else is that “nectar” stuff.
Buffet was the best I have seen,especially as a vegetarian although the allergen symbols need to be bigger for my middle aged eyes! Nice that vegan is recognised too.
Hairdryer is one of those attached to the wall in the bathroom jobs, probably like a Braun silencio, not great not awful.

This was our third visit to this hotel and again we had a wonderful time.
The refurbishment adds so much to the main restaurant and also the lobby shops/cafe have really been upgraded. The new beach bar is beautiful (and the cocktails are delicious) !

One reason we keep coming back to this hotel is the excellent layout that works so well for families - the play area with table tennis/ pool tables is close to the pool and beach so our children are happy to go there by themselves, knowing that we're nearby but we don't have to spend our holidays in the play area (which was be the case in other hotels we have been to)!

The staff are very friendly, be it at reception, the restaurants and bars as well as the fitness instructors - generally everyone! We didn't use the kids club but we did plenty of the shorter activities such as Kwik Cricket, kite making (this was a big hit with the children), pebble painting, family yoga, aqua gym, archery and more - these are really great and it's such a good way to try new things!

Another reason we keep coming back is the quality and layout of the rooms - we had a family superior room, which consists of two bedrooms with a shared bathroom in the middle. This works really well for us - they are very spacious and very clean (thank you, housekeeping team).

We also love the sustainability option of choosing not to have the room cleaned every day and getting a discount coupon for the shop when doing so. Hopefully many guests will choose to do this during their stay and lots of energy and water can be saved! We noticed some other sustainability initiatives and hope the hotel can continue to work on this even further.

We are very happy with the quality and the variety of food and drinks. The hotel put a lot of effort into the BBQ for the Bayram celebrations and we were very impressed with the food, the decor and the entertainment for children and adults. This must have taken weeks of planning and we appreciated how hard everyone worked to execute the event perfectly.

We felt very welcome, lots of little touches such as a birthday message, balloons and a cake.

Ideas
As our children are approaching the teenage years and feel that they are too old for the kids club, we were wondering if the hotel would consider offering a few activities specifically targeted at teenagers? For example courses that run over several days, sport or art related.

Also, we noticed that A LOT of people are using ipads/phones at breakfast/lunch/dinner constantly and also at the pool . As we're trying to keep screen time to a minimum (and I am sure there are many other like minded people), would the hotel consider having any digital free zones?

Overall, we had a lovely time and it won't be our last visit!

Just back from our first stay here. This was our 4th visit to Turkey having stayed at the Holiday Village twice and last year at Tui Blue Tropical. Have to say this place really is something special!
Rooms: We booked a swim up which we loved, used it every afternoon when we had most of the sun from late morning onwards. The room was cleaned to such a high standard every day, lots of space for our clothes and to store our cases. The bedding and towels were so soft and comfy and our room 2608 was in a perfect location.
Nothing felt too far away compared to other resorts we have stayed in and was really easy to find our way around
Pools: we spent most of our time at the splash pool. Loved that there was sunbeds available all morning, we’ve had to get up at stupid times in the past so to be able to have a sleep in and take our time was a luxury for us! kids loved the water slides. Pool areas always clean, we did see them cleaning the pool and around the sunbeds each evening.
Food: possibly an unpopular opinion but we weren’t blown away by the buffet in terms of the choice of food- I’ve had more choice in previous hotels but what I will say is the quality of the food in the buffet was excellent. kids area was poor - did feed this back to the hotel but we did find food they could eat in the main buffet. We weren’t overly impressed with the service in the evening in the buffet for the first few days, weren’t offered top ups of drinks etc but after a few days and changing where we sat this improved. Service at breakfast was always really good. We booked into the Al A Cartes with no issue using the app, we only ate at Tao and Basilico in the evenings and the food was lovely but we also enjoyed eating at the available restaurants at lunch where the service was brilliant. Staff were really attentive.
Entertainment: we only watched one show which was Pinkish- she was fab. we spent our evenings at the beach bar as our children liked to play in the park area down there. Drinks were always really good, so much choice and nice to have a properly made cocktail rather than something poured out of a carton!
We didn’t venture out of the hotel other than to the shops over the road as we wanted a relaxing holiday this year
We used DM for our transfers who were brilliant couldn’t fault them at all!
We loved it so much we’ve just booked again this evening to return again next June

We have been to this lovely hotel many times and it never fails to impress us.
From walking in to leaving everything was perfect.
There has been a refurbishment of the reception area and dining area. The buffet restaurant and the seating areas are now very modern and the staff and service excellent. There is a great selection of excellent food with different theme nights. There is something to suit everyone.
Another adjustment which may seem trivial to some, but as my husband is a wheelchair user, the automatic doors leading from the lobby bar to the Tao restaurant are a great help!
Just need to sort out the flags leading to the seats in the Caretta bar!! The bar staff helped us numerous times after getting the wheelchair stuck.
All the staff are welcoming and pleasant. A big thank you to the staff in the lobby bar where we spent lots of time listening to the great music.
Also the staff in the adult pool bar, Koray and Hakan kept us well hydrated.
We used the adult only cocktail bar which has splendid views, the staff here again lovely and friendly, nice to see Hoseyn who makes the best cocktails always with a smile.
The hotel just gets better, it ticks all the boxes for us with the food, drinks and lovely staff.

Everything about the hotel is amazing, but I do have to say the spa is the best bit. We have been lots of times and because we are regulars we always get looked after by Hamdi.
They will make the treatment however hard or soft you like your massage I personally love the Hammam which is a very traditional Turkish way to relax.

The spa is out of this world. Hamdi is helpful, friendly, very knowledgeable and will cater to your every need, treatments can be adjusted and tweaked to your own requirements. So professional and so relaxing. Me and my daughter visited the spa 4 times during our stay and we just love it. Thank you Akra keep doing what you are doing

Went to the spa and it was very relaxing, great experience and very well needed.

We had the most amazing holiday at this fabulous hotel. It is our 2nd visit and we will be back. We had a wonderful meal in the Italian restaurant Basilico , the food and service was outstanding.

I could write reams about this hotel (and in particular how good it is), but I'll attempt to keep it brief:
Rooms - clean, modern, well furnished and really well equipped (robe, slippers etc.), restocked mini-bar a nice touch.
Pools - great selection (only used the 'family pool' as we were with our children), really clean in and around the pools, sun-lounger availability a bit mixed (but to be fair we don't get up particularly early), poolside waiter service another nice touch
Restaurants - used the buffet, Turkish (late-night menu and regular menu), Italian and Chinese, as well as the Sunset restaurant for lunch. Food / service in all was superb.
Entertainment - about as good as it gets for this type of resort, some really good acts.
Paying for late check-out (keeping our room 'til 6pm) meant we could make the most of our last day - highly recommend if you've got an evening transfer / flight.
Sure there's loads of other stuff I could write, but suffice to say if you're on the fence about going to Turkey (like we were) or not sure about booking this hotel - then do it, you won't regret it. It's easy to see why there are soooo many returning guests - this is the first hotel in a very long time (and on a reasonable budget) that we've returned from and immediately looked at re-booking.

Just back from Akra Fethiye TUI Blue. This was our 9 th visit. The reason we return is the staff, ,food,pool area, entertainment and the rooms.

The hotel is fantastic , we stayed in a mixed area Seaview room with a fantastic view.

This year the hotel has been updated, the reception is so bright and spacious. The restaurant has been fully refurbished which is really nice

I have travelled to various places for 45 years but the staff make this hotel standout.

The restaurants are first class, the main buffet has various theme nights and the standard of food is first class.

Entertainment was excellent this year and every evening the main reception had a singer on again fantastic.

The cleanliness of the hotel was excellent. The pool area was cleaned every night ready for the next day. Fresh towels provided.

The standard of drinks was excellent, Efes, Becks,Millers and Belfast. All cocktails freshly made with top brand spirits.

I would like to mention a few special friends/staff.

Reception..

A special mention to Caner, he always remembers you when you arrive and is so nice Anytime you go past reception he asks if everything is good.

Breakfast, One of the best Ali, such a nice person spoke to us every morning.He plans to travel at
the end of the season and would like to wish him.a safe journey Also Hamitcon was so nice.

Pool Bar..Koray, I think for most of my visits he has been there. Such a nice person, when he seen you coming he has your drink ready. He was backed up by Hakan, again great guy, came round the pool taking drinks ordes. Both guys work so hard.

Asian restaurant was my favourite. One of the busiest restaurants and the manager Erhan had it all under control with his great staff, Hakan and Muhummet Ali. The boys worked so hard hard Sorry if I missed anyone out as lost my notes

Italian restaurant had a great choice
of food and really nice interior. Again the team were excellent, very special mention to Solyeman, he is now the manager and was so nice with his great staff Ransman, Banyaman .

Beach Bar, is the place in the to be seeing the sunset and great music, all run superbly by Yigit , Deniz and Serhat.

So if your sitting thinking where to go next year, you would find it hard to find a better place with ...great staff, first class accommodation , great food and great entertainment.

Can you please pass on my speacial thanks to everyone mentioned and any one I have missed in the Asian restaurant as I misplaced some of the very special guys names.

Absolutely fantastic! 3rd time and it just keeps getting better, you can not fault this hotel. Staff so attentive, I would just like to mention our favourites and who really stood out for us.
Ali in the cocktail bar, just the most amazing cocktails 10/10. What a pleasant smiley guy, always happy and polite, and quick to serve. You can see how much he loves his job.
Buket in the main restaurant, very attentive, happy smiley young lady always had another chai ready for my wife who needs 3 or 4 at breakfast before she wakes up. We also observed Buket helping the older guests to sit down and then get up out of their seats this lady has a lovely aura!
Last but not least another very hardworking barman Abdullah in the lobby bar, again always smiling, great barman, and made the most perfect mojito!
We will see you all again very soon as we are missing you already. We had the best holiday ever! No negatives what so ever.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel while celebrating my husband’s birthday. Everything exceeded our expectations. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. The restaurants were excellent, with delicious food and outstanding service.

Basilico restaurant is great, Ulas and his team are friendly, welcoming who cannot do enough for you to make your evening great, our waiter Bunjamin was excellent a real character.

I cannot fault all of the staff, friendly and extremely helpful making our 4th stay another great experience.

This was our very first family holiday with our non-verbal autistic son, so picking the right hotel meant a lot to us. From the moment we arrived at Akra Fethiye TUI BLUE Sensatori, we knew we’d made the right choice.

Before we got there, we had asked for a specific room as we knew we maybe spending a lot of time in our swim up room and the hotel kindly sorted it for us, which we really appreciated. We were also celebrating our first wedding anniversary during our stay, and the hotel made it feel extra special. We came back to a beautifully decorated room, a bottle of bubbly, and a lovely welcome note, which was such a thoughtful touch and made us feel really valued.

During our stay, every member of staff was friendly, helpful, and very understanding of our son’s needs, which made such a difference to our family’s experience.

The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful and spotless. Everywhere is kept to a really high standard, and the grounds are stunning.
One thing that really stood out was how much there was to do. The entertainment and activities were fantastic, and there was always something fun going on throughout the day. My husband especially loved the water polo, which quickly became one of the highlights of his holiday! The atmosphere around the hotel was always lively and welcoming, without ever feeling too overwhelming.

The food was out of this world, with so much choice at every meal. This was especially important for us as our son is a very fussy eater, but there was always something he was happy to eat. The à la carte restaurants were all fantastic and served some of the best food we’ve had on holiday.

We also paid extra for the Sunset à la carte restaurant and it was worth every penny. The views were breathtaking, the food was exceptional, and the service was absolutely first-class.

We hired a cabana for the day and WOW, we’ve never experienced anything like it, our server didn’t stop all day and he even remembered our drink orders from our dinner the night before! Definitely worth doing it and will be booking more days on our next visit.

We honestly can’t think of a single negative thing to say about our stay. Everything went above and beyond our expectations and helped make our first family holiday, and our first wedding anniversary celebration, so special and memorable.

A holiday is a success when you’re already thinking about going back before you’ve even left, and that’s exactly how we felt. We’re already about to book again for the same time next year, and we’ll be bringing our wider family with us so they can experience this amazing hotel too.

This was our second stay at this fabulous hotel and we brought my parents along this time for their first stay, and they had the best holiday ever and would return in a heartbeat.

The staff at this hotel are the most amazing, friendly and caring people I have ever came into contact with at any hotel. They go above and beyond at every stage of your stay. They are an absolute credit to this hotel. I can’t remember most of their names but Hakan in Tao, Cesar in the Cabanas and the most lovely lady cleaner doing rooms 1406 and 1401. They were exceptional.

Our room was perfect, it was the same room as last year and we really appreciated that. We spent the majority of our time here because we love relaxing in the swim up pool. The room and pool were incredibly clean, the room was spacious and we love all the extra amenities in the bathroom. The fridge is very well stocked, as well as coffee pods and crisps (I loved the crisps so much, I went over the road to buy extra packets to take home!)

The food is the best I’ve ever had at an all inclusive. The variety is so vast, any fussy eater would be able to stay here. We love the fact you have the Italian restaurant and the Sunset restaurant to use at lunch times too. The new ice cream parlour is lovely! Great addition to the hotel, as is the renovation of the buffet restaurant.

The entertainment here was the best we’ve ever seen. The tribute acts during our weeks stay were just brilliant. The TUI team work so hard to give great performances as well, and we really enjoyed the Bohem Party. The offering of daily activities is huge as well and that’s brilliant!

The grounds in this hotel are beautiful, the care and attention that is taken in keeping them neat, tidy and the flowers growing is just incredible. Beautiful flowers!

The reception and guest relations team were also really helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. We absolutely love the reception area, it smells amazingly clean and it’s a nice place to relax before your taxi home.

We find this hotel great value for money and a lot cheaper than other hotels we have visited. It is well worth the money, that’s for sure.

We just want to thank you so much for another amazing stay, you are doing everything a 5* hotel should and you should be very proud. Your team are amazing and we cannot wait to be back next year.

This was the most chilled out holiday I’ve ever been on. The hotel was just perfect. The cleaners, hotel staff, restaurant staff and bar staff were all just amazing. My fave was the Careta Bar, they made the best Mudslides. Loved this place and I shall definitely return.

We've been to this hotel twice now, we had such a great time we returned this year.

This hotel is lovely, the service is extremely good and the food excellent.The entertainment is first class.

The main bar is busy, but the lady waiters were really helpful as my wife was in a wheelchair so they very kindly brought our drinks to us.

Yet, as good as this hotel is, and it is exceptional, there were some significant flaws that will prevent us returning.

1. The cellar show bar was difficult to access in a wheelchair due to a ramp at the bottom of the lift.

2. They have reduced the 3 gratis meals at the a-la -cartes to two, so we were paying much more than last year for less. There was no exception for returning clients. It would cost 110 euros minimum.

3. We had a late return transfer so needed to keep the room for 4 hours extra. I asked if I could have a freeby as returning customers. The answer was an explicit NO. It would cost 110 euros.

My wife is in a wheelchair, and the management knew we were both feeling sick following a hamburger lunch at the beach restaurant. Even so, they let us sit in the lounge for 5 hours waiting for our transfer home. I wasn't impressed.

So, with regret, in future we will return to the Tui Blu Crystal Bay Resort in Hurghada . We go there many times a year, as they know how to reward returning clients.

I made this review on Google in April and got the usual bollox that they regretted our dissatisfaction and would feedback to management. Although they have our email they have never reached out to us to offer any remedy.

We will just have to accept that all this hotel is interested in is money. They say they appreciate loyalty, but dont mean it, or they wouldn't have tried to sting us for extra cash at every opportunity and would have reached out to us by email.

It's a very stupid attitude as we were intending to return time and again. But if all you're interested in is money then you get what you deserve.

This was our 3rd visit in 4 years and the worst!

Last time we stayed in room 2111 (which was good), this time we had room 2115, Nightmare!

Sadly this wasn't great, it is directly over the lobby bar.

The first three nights we had interrupted sleep, at first I thought it was other guests due to the late footy matches, but then I found out it was the bar cleaners.

They don't pick furniture up, they drag it everywhere, to clean and reposition stools and tables.

I complained to the TUI reps about this three times over our 10 nights stay, one of those times was in front of guest relations.

I came down one to the the bar to ask them to stop around 2.30am, and also whilst down there to the receptionist.

Unfortunately over our 10 night stay it happened 5 nights.

This is a good hotel, food excellent with some great staff, TUI guys are great like, Bailes, Kate, Alan🤣 and Mim.

Sadly Riyad was rude to my wife and her friend who regularly do exercise classes back home, they went to one of his classes as tourists in beachwear and sandals, unlike those from the Residence who had all the gear!

All in all we didn't let the night time problem let it spoil our holiday, but it does leave a bitter taste, you wait all year for your holiday which isn't cheap, to be spoiled unnecessarily.

The platform now isn't a quiet relaxing place, it's next to the bar, so needs relocation to a quieter place, as our party couldn't hear anything at one session.

We had a Cabana for the day at €90 which was down by the sea.
Closing the poolside bar of an evening is a backwards step, we have done this quite a few times previously.

The main restaurant refurb isn't to our liking as you can now hear everything from one side to the other, previously it was partitioned off so quieter.

The tables of four around the sides are under Aircon vents, and blow down to your table, we found the inner portion wall bench better.

The room phone rang just before our last night's meal, it was guest relations asking if we had enjoyed our stay, my wife explained about the sleep problems and said they would feed the information back.

When we checked out around 2.15am, the receptionist was only interested in taking our room door cards back and getting the €90 back, she never asked us about our stay!
Very disappointed.

We would consider going back, but not in 2115, it would need to be at least a floor higher or in a different part of the hotel.

This hotel would normally get a 4* or even 5* review from me on previous experiences, sadly not this time.

I hope the Management actually do something about this and don't just put a standard reply to this review, these are simple fixes in my book.

On the morning of checking out, four people were making quite a bit of noise at the bar, the bar man, never said anything, two receptionists never said anything!

I'm all for having a good time, if proper noise reduction measures are in place, so that other guests aren't made to suffer sleep issues.

Clean the lobby bar after 7.00am

Move the relation platform to a quiet area, there are a couple of options on this.

I visited here this month (June 26). It was recommended by friends of a friend. I was a bit sceptical at first having not been to Turkey and going with family and friends (8people). Everything about this hotel was amazing. It was clean, the staff were amazing the food was amazing. From the start to finish we had an amazing time. The rooms were big and cleaned everyday. The pools were great, we stayed at the activity pool most days (slightly heated) but the choice of pools was great. The bar staff at the pool bar were lovely. There was one man there cant remember his name. (He's in December) was lovely. Was always around the pool getting us drinks and teaching us some Turkish. During the days it was very warm and the views from the beach and pool was lush. The food was my favourite part. The restaurant was always doing something different with themed evening. The breakfast pancakes were my top. The donor meat at the restaurant and the beach hut was outrageously good. We eat in the Tao and Amber restaurants and both were great. Throughout the hotel there was enough seating, restaurants, bars, pool and beach sunbeds. The evening entertainment was good, once we found the area. Our children (12 & 9) didnt go in the kids club as I feel it was aimed at smaller children but they had an amazing time at the pool every day. You can use pounds or euros which was handy not worrying about changing money. The little shop in the hotel was very handy and there is a few shops outside the restaurants where you can get snacks and drinks, inflatables etc.
Now my only issue is had here was the use of apps were confusing. They use 2 apps for this hotel. The Akra and the Tui Blue app (not just the Tui app) it took us a while on working out how to book things and what was on during the day but we worked it out after a couple of day. Saying that we could have spoke to guest relations or Tui reps and we would have worked it out quicker.
All in all the holiday was amazing and I was really sad to leave. I will definitely book again.
Lastly I want to mentions the entertainment staff. They were all great and we had a great time with them on the pool team day (friday) and the party on the saturday. Speaking to them all was great. They were all lovely. FI found Jake was really friendly and informative. However Mim was amazing, she was friendly, a good laugh and genuinely felt like a friend of ours as soon as we meet her. I hope that when I come back that they are all still there as they made the holiday a 5 star holiday! I read the reviews before coming and I didn't see any of the bad things other people had experienced. If you thinking of going here I was 100 percent recommended bookings.
