The reception staff at both check-in and check-out were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast had a great variety of options. Overall, the staff were polite and helpful throughout our stay. The pool was pleasantly warm, and the Jurassic Park area was fantastic—perfect for kids and a real highlight for families.
The rooms could definitely do with some upgrading, as they felt a bit dated.The food at the restaurants was disappointing and overpriced for the quality. Dinner service felt quite chaotic at times. I also had a massage that didn’t meet expectations, and unfortunately, our booking was cancelled twice after being confirmed, and then re-arranged, which was frustrating.
Lots of activities for kids (under 8)
Checked in - front desk staff seemed most annoyed and irritated while looking after me and my son. I was told 4pm the room would be ready and the only swimming time available was 4pm and dinner was 4.30pm so I questioned how I was supposed to make both of them and received a death stare so I left it. Never received an email advising of any of these pre bookings by the way. Anyway came back at 4pm for my room key so we could get ready for swimming and were told the room would be another few min. 4.15pm and we got the key, we had to skip swimming (which we were really looking forward to) and head for dinner which we didn't want as we arrived at 2pm and went for lunch! At lunch my son received a cold toasted sandwich and found out this was a sandwich that was returned as a wrong order and then given to him ! Some outdoor activities require a booking too. . The times I requested were unavailable which made some activities rushed and eating at times that were not ideal. I.e breakfast at 10am which left us with the scraps at the buffet - either cold, dried up or gone altogether! The staff were most unhelpful, I asked for toast twice for the scraps of scrambled eggs I got, by the time the toast came my eggs were freezing - I went to get more and was told there was none! My 8 year old went to get pancakes and witness 2 staff members having a go at each other and cursing because the guy serving pancakes was doing something with a candle under the tray that was dangerous 🙈 it's a good spot for kids under 8, just book your activities and restaurants, ignore the staff on reception, most of the other staff are really lovely.
