I had a massage with Casey and it was the best massage I’ve ever had. I’ve been to plenty of different at spas before but this was by far the best. Casey was so accommodating. I will definitely be booking in again with her. Highly recommend.
I had an amazing full body massage with Lucia today. She was so professional, attentive, and really took the time to listen to my concerns before starting. The massage itself was fantastic — exactly the right pressure and incredibly relaxing. I walked out feeling refreshed and pain-free. I would definitely book with Lucia again and highly recommend her.
Had a nice time here at The Newpark. All the staff were very friendly greeting you in all departments. Breakfast was a little disappointing. No seeds for the cereal & I ordered poached eggs & they were floating in water & undercooked. Staff were very nice though. Our room was very clean & comfortable but the view outside it was unpleasant. An old bar stool dumped right outside the window & a makeshift fence & 2 box structures were our only view as on the other side were trees or bushes so high it made the room very dark so we just closed the curtains altogether & left the light on in the daytime. This aspect needs attention. Leisure centre was a lovely experience with the outdoor jacuzzi pool being very relaxing. The only gripe here are the towels given for showering are way too small. We will definitely return but would hope to get a room with a better view especially after I had requested it this time round.
Stayed for one night and the experience was entirely unacceptable. Throughout the night there was excessive noise outside our room — people running up and down the corridor, shouting, and individuals loudly screaming obscenities, including threats of violence. As a result, neither myself nor my children were able to get any proper sleep. rang reception during the night and it continues
This level of disturbance is completely at odds with the standard Newpark Hotel Kilkenny claims to offer. Guests, especially families with young children, should reasonably expect a safe and restful environment.
When I raised these issues with management, I received no meaningful resolution. The only offer made was a 20% discount, which was already part of the standard January sale and did not reflect any genuine attempt to address the situation. It left us with the clear impression that the hotel does not value or respect customers’ hard-earned money.

The shower didn't work, (pressure and heat) and in general the room was quite grubby, the pool had so much chlorine, rusted rails and over packed with kids that we couldn't enjoy with our kids. Restaurant had lots of chipped plates and very average. Very over rated, outdated and disappointed stay.
