Old, outdated, poor service, noisy.

I requested a quiet room and let them know in my pre check in I had a very early wake up time. I was put right by an entrance door where it’s noisy and all I hear is slamming and stomping. The guy at the front desk seemed less than thrilled to be doing his job. Straight to the point, no friendly service and gave off a bad vibe. Rooms are outdated. Security is also an issue with the entrance doors being left wide open. Smell of cigarette smoke comes wafting in for a nice air freshener too…not within walking distance to any amenities other than a pub/restaurant. Nice ocean view for the price you pay. Pool was closed as well, that was disappointing news to see upon check in. Housekeeping garbage left in a corner in the hallway as well made for a nice display.

Pros:

The hotel is in a beautiful location, but it’s very old and in need of your carpet and just general upgrades. The bed was comfortable however it was up in the loft, which I was unaware of. The location is wonderful with a beautiful ocean view from the balcony. The breakfast facilities seemed very untidy and looked dirty to me. The cereal dispenser looked like they have never been cleaned. It smelled of cigarette smoke and looked just generally unorganized and unclean.

I was disappointed and will not return.
Pros:

The staff were helpful and pleasant. The price was good. The breakfast was good just missing some items that I was told they would have. The bed was comfortable.

Cons:

I phoned about the breakfast items as I eat specific foods. I was told on the phone and then in person about items that would for sure be available and they were not. The music in the breakfast room was loud for an early morning time.

The room was dirty. Wasn't about to have a bath in the room. The fan had inches of dust on it. Hadn't been cleaned in a long time.

I forgot my charging cord and they didn't have any to lend. Not a big deal but other hotels often have cords.

The pool was closed but it wasn't updated online.

Overall, the place loooks tired and rundown. Ramada used to mean something but this did not exhibit what I would have expected. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Pros:

My kids love to mini golf and the location is convenient.

Cons:

The heat in my room didn’t work and they wouldn’t move us or give me a discount. They provided a tiny space heater but it barely heated the whole room.

Pros:

The hotel was nice, I loved the view of the ocean 😍 and the breakfast was perfect.

Cons:

I would say the parking could use an upgrade. It is really tight, besides that. It was all lovely.

Pros:

Staff was nice!

Cons:

Pool, which is the main feature for our family, was closed. When I booked the room there wasn't any mention of this and no communication stating this would be the case during the time leading up to my stay. Also the latch on my patio door was broken and we had no access to our balcony/patio.
