It was absolutely awful and i am amazed that you have such a place on your platform.
Pros:

The bed linen and the towels were clean.

Cons:

The room was extremely small, the windows were screwed shut, the window sills and the curtains were filthy,there was mould in the shower and when turning on the cold tap the pipe moved. The entire facility requires a thorough clean and refurbishing. There was a doona on the bed with no cover and we were not about to use the kettle or cups as they were housed in a cupboard with peeling Formica on the shelf. The bathroom door jammed shut requiring a knife to get the door open.the entire room had an odd odour that left me with a thumping headache.

Pros:

Walking distance to the river, restaurants and shops.
Reasonably priced for what we intended to use/ need.

Just what we required for a one night stay.

Very clean and had all the extras needed- kettle, fridge, toaster etc

Last Resort
Pros:

It was close to town-walking distance.
Bed was comfortable but don’t look under it as it has not been cleaned for a long time.

Cons:

The bathroom tap was continuously leaking. Had a lot of rust around it so was like this for a long time.
TV remote needs replacing (or batteries) as would not change channel or turn tv on and had to do it on the tv.
The aircon (heat) took at least 10mins to kick in and room was freezing.
Freezer department in fridge doesn’t work. So the frozen block we put in there was not frozen in the morning to keep our food cold for the trip.

we went to explore Renmark and found places to look at.
Pros:

the area was well organised for parking out of the rain. As it was winter the pool wasn't to be used and well signed.
The restuarant was excellent and the chef and staff were great too.
