I arrived around midnight and was received by an unfriendly receptionist who showed no interest in whether my journey had gone well or whether I had managed to find parking, despite the difficult parking situation in this area.

During check-in, rather than asking politely, he simply said, “Now you are going to pay.” I explained that I would prefer to pay at check-out, as I do not usually pay for accommodation before I have even seen the room. He replied that immediate payment was mandatory.

My reservation included breakfast, either in the room rate or as a Genius benefit. However, nobody informed me that part of the hotel was under renovation and that no proper breakfast service was available because the kitchen was closed or unstaffed.

At approximately 6:50 the next morning, I went downstairs to look for breakfast, but nobody was there. I returned at around 7:50 and met another guest with a child in the breakfast area. It was this guest—not a member of staff—who explained that there was only a coffee machine with black coffee, not even tea, and that a croissant could be baked upon specific request if I was willing to wait. I declined and left the hotel.

Throughout my stay, I repeatedly entered and left the building without seeing a single employee. There was no visible housekeeping service and not even a “Do Not Disturb” or “Please Clean My Room” sign. A flyer instructed guests to request cleaning via a QR code, but judging by the condition of my room on arrival, the cleanliness was nowhere near four-star standard.

This is a very old hotel and clearly in need of renovation. Renovation work, however, does not excuse poor cleanliness, a lack of information, or staff showing so little interest in their guests and in basic hospitality. I sincerely hope this is one of the final negative reviews before the hotel reopens with renovated rooms, clean windows, appropriate standards, and attentive personnel.

Abfluss war verstopft, wie Handwaschbecken sowie Dusche. Es stank nach Abfluss. Ausstattung war sehr alt. Man hörte sogar vom Hinterhof Menschen sprechen…meiner Meinung nach keine 4 Sterne.

Rather negative welcome, checking in, told no breakfast bar not open that night and no mention of basement exercise facilities.
Poor for this standard of hotel, expected a leaflet about hotel facilities

Sehr abgewohntes Zimmer

Imposibilidad de contar con desayuno.
Necesidad de mayor limpieza y control de roedores/insectos en zonas comunes (patio, etc.).
Escaleras y angostura del establecimiento.

Sehr laut nachts, hörte Polizei. In der 2. Nacht versuchte jemand, zwischen 3 und 4 Uhr mit seiner Karte ins Zimmer zu gelangen. Zum Glück hat er es nicht geschafft

Que la limpieza sea bajo demanda (con un día de preaviso por parte del cliente, mediante aplicativo online) me parece un poco triste. Teniendo en cuenta que el gimnasio abre a las 9am, no da tiempo de ir antes de ir a la oficina, como sí pasa en otro hoteles.

- wenn Samstag und wenn Zimmer zur Strasse liegt bis morgens laut. (Clubs, AMG Gebolze, Feierpublikum bis morgens)
