Wow, we were there from a Friday checked out on a Monday never had Housekeeping services even though we notified the front desk each day to please provide service.
The toilet wasn’t functioning. We reported it. We came back that night to find a plunger at our door.!
The bathroom floor was filthy behind the door. We cleaned it before using the bathroom and we dusted the area around the sink.
The front desk staff was lovely but when we told him what our problems were, they just told us they would report it to management. Nothing ever changed.!
We have used Hilton hotels a lot in the past, but this was our last experience with Hilton. Shame on them!!
Convenience off the road front desk staff were pleasant
No Housekeeping service for the three days we were there even though we mentioned it to the front desk they told us they would take care of it. It never happened.
Clogged toilet, we told him as we were leaving the room came back to the room that evening the toilet was still clogged with a plunger just sitting outside the door
A huge blackout, which was not the hotels fought, but they were very ill prepared. I do believe they need to practice for that type of emergency in the future.
The bathroom floor was really dirty behind the door when you closed it
It looks like it had not been mopped or cleaned.
coffee
nothing hot to eat unless it was purchased from their "grocery".
Better pillows
It was a clean, solid hotel with comfortable beds in a somewhat remote part of the Hudson Valley.
Staff was great, rooms were comfortable. Breakfast was nothing great
Very nice peeps..excellent ☕️
Location for a night travel for passing through
Cost was a little higher than I expected for the area.
Staff were very friendly and easy to talk to. Breakfast was good, not a huge selection but still good. Loved the coffee, wish I had a bigger cup though. Everything was clean and neat.
The only downside was that my bathroom was out of body wash and the bathrooms are a bit small. Other than that everything else was exceptional.
The location was convenient and the staff was pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was simple and well stocked. More fresh fruit wouldn’t hurt.
The website advertised a pool but we were
informed on arrival that it was under repair. Next time we will try to book a place that offers a functioning pool.
TLDR: Hotel rooms were unsanitary, male front desk staff refused to show more rooms until other intervention, front desk staff called police on my party even though we were being courteous (everything was resolved with the police helping us mediate w/ the aggressive staff)
Avoid this property at all costs. My group of four arrived late at night to find severe sanitation and public health failures in our room, including visible blood stains on the bedding and active insects near the refrigerator. When we brought these biohazards to the attention of the front desk staff, the employee flatly refused to assist, claimed a room change was "against hotel policy," and became highly hostile.
They were convinced to show us other rooms when another guest chimed in and the subsequent rooms that we saw also had sanitation issues. One room had dried nasal fluid, uncleaned surfaces, and insects and the other room had a heavy cleaning odor as well as uncleaned surfaces. The guest that chimed in had also stated that she had to be switched three times because she found pubic hair and a sink that was not cleaned amongst other things in the rooms.
When we asked to speak with a manager or to receive clean linens so we could change the bedding ourselves, the employee escalated the situation completely unprovoked and called the local police to have us forcibly removed from the property at midnight. It required the intervention of a New York State Trooper to defuse the staff's erratic behavior and convince them to contact an off-site manager. That manager had promised a refund for the night's stay which has not been honored and the manager has since ghosted me after their initial email.
This property is unsanitary, poorly managed, and unsafe for travelers. Go at your own risk.
