Location was great for our needs.
Breakfast off of a menu was great.
No chairs and table.
The consistency of being at a Courtyard Marriot. You know what to expect and what is included. Room layout was good, facility clean as always.
Staff was very friendly.
Water pressure! Shower head in my room needs to be replaced. Outlets attached to lamps( bedside) wouldnt even hold the plug( just fell out- needs attention/replaced).
Elevator call button for 3rd floor is noticeably damaged/lose.

It is not my choice of a destination hotel
When we decided to stay overnight in St. Jacobs, we were surprised by the number of hotels near the farmer’s market. We evaluated several options based on their ratings and prices for the day of our stay. The Courtyard Marriott was one of the final three hotels on our list. Having stayed in various hotels within this chain before, we had always been satisfied, so we decided to book a room there for the night. We were not disappointed.
The staff at the hotel were fantastic—friendly and eager to assist with even the smallest requests, such as providing a bandage for a guest in need. While it would have been nice to check in early, we understood that the previous night had been completely sold out, and rooms were still being vacated when we arrived. Instead of the usual “no,” the staff explained the situation politely.
The room itself was clean and spacious, and the lobby was inviting, offering a relaxing space to sit while we waited for our room. We appreciated that there was a dining option available, and we decided to go there in the evening for a nightcap. The server was exceptional, providing detailed explanations of the whiskeys that were available.
Although the Courtyard Marriott is not the least expensive hotel in the area, we believe it offers great value. If we return to St. Jacobs, we would definitely choose to stay there again.
The service was wonderful and friendly
The pillows were stained blue
Funny smell in room. Streaming service needed our own account.
Friendly staff, clean, quick service.
The bathroom sink wasn't draining, and it got fixed the next day after I asked reception for a fix.
The Bistro gets busy in the morning, so take that into consideration if you need to leave on time.
The location is almost at the edge of the city, but still walkable to the university area (~1 hr), and ride-share is pretty cheap (~10$).
Close to some places of interest
Can’t say anything negative
Very clean hotel. Excellent customer service. Wonderful breakfast too!
Not much to do in the hotel nor around the area for kids. Not a lot of free tv channels
