We have found our favourite hotel to stay at in Waterloo! Always a pleasure to be at the Courtyard Marriott!
Pros:

The people are so friendly and the food at the Bistro was fantastic! Front desk staff, restaurant staff and cleaning staff were all tiop notice!

Very friendly staff and a quiet, clean hotel
Pros:

Didn’t have breakfast but bought coffee. Nice large tv with a variety of channels or could stream. Very clean.

Cons:

Coffee in room with powdered milk was terrible. The one side of king bed was very tight to the wall.

Except for the sink and door being open the hotel was great.
Pros:

Breakfast was good and the price was very good.

Cons:

The sink was cracked and leaked underneath. They could not replace the sink so they put an adhesives under the sink to stop the leak. While we were gone away to look around they put the adhesive on the sink. When we got back to the room the door to the room was partially open with our luggage still inside.(The luggage was placed in the room before we left). We told the front desk about the door being open.

Great hotel
Pros:

My husband and I traveled to Ontario the first part of February and stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott Waterloo St. James. So glad we stayed here. Our room was clean and had everything we needed from a coffee/tea machine to a shower with great water pressure. I have to say that EVERYONE that works here is so nice and accommodating. I’d like to especially thank Steve Millington, Dhanuph, Carter, Aryn, and Depesh. We like to stay at hotels that have a bar/restaurant on site, and this one did not disappoint. Great food and drinks. The front desk staff were also amazing. We will definitely be back.

Excellent! Would, and probably will, stay there again!
Pros:

Location is close enough to St. Jacob’s downtown and Kitchener yet far enough away to be quiet and restful. Love the fireplaces in the rooms!

Cons:

I know it’s a cost thing most likely but more hours of operation for the restaurant would be incredible.
