A mini break celebrating my husbands birthday shame it was just the one night but very enjoyable
Pros:

The property was clean and cosy but the staff make this hotel from Charlie on reception she was warm friendly helpful she showed us around and to our garden cottage room
And both young men in the Broc bar area also very good helpful and attentive ,the food also was very good ……it was all the little touches from our goodnight basket at the door to our check out bag just makes it extra special

Lovely touches make you feel very welcome.
Pros:

Lovely location, great little touches like turndown service & gift on departure, nice bedding & brilliant shower. Food was excellent in the restaurant.

Cons:

Deluxe room was quite small for the price, bar prices were expensive, bed wasn’t as comfortable as I would have hoped.

Sticky floors and smelly yappy dogs.
Cons:

Sticky floor in the room. Carpet around bed dirty. Toilet dripping.
Dogs in the restaurant would not have stayed there if I had known.
Breakfast was quite good the first morning went downhill there after. Toast just dried out left in toaster every morning served up like a bathroom tile.

Cons:

The room, we were allocated was up a narrow winding staircase. Anybody with restrictive capacity would not have been able to negotiate the stairs.
We would definitely stay again but not in that room. We are both of pensionable age.

excellent breakfast and diner. nice choice of meals in restaurant. fine wines.
very helpfull staff, we could have breakfast very early the day of check out because our early flight.
nice terace in the back of the hotel.

First visit to The Bonnie Badger and thoroughly enjoyed it.
Pros:

Loved the relaxed atmosphere. Great location and very friendly staff.

Cons:

Although we are dog lovers we found the dog friendly policy a bit too much as our four legged friends were welcomed everywhere including eating areas. Not everyone is comfortable sharing breakfast time with dogs. When sitting out enjoying lunch and a glass of wine in the lovely walled garden area we witnessed one dog urinating on the leg of the table next to us!!
