Ok, wouldn’t stay again, tired, better places in brock - would go for a drink!
Pros:

Location, bar area, views.

Cons:

Food quality poor, slow service, tired and not particularly clean rooms, tired and old pool and changing area. Bathroom didn’t have a window.

Loads of additional costs, paid £350 for one night and a spa package, which included loads of additional fees we didn’t
Pros:

Gorgeous location, but seems as though the prices are ramped up as a result

Cons:

Looked lovely from the outside, and even the lobby/ ground floor was nice. But our room was very shabby and outdated. Leather peeling off the headboard, vent hanging off its hinges etc.

Poor quality food. Poor quality room and amenities. Felt like a budget hotel but for high cost to customer. Feel ripped off.

Pros:

Very relaxing, friendly feel about the hotel. Every single member of staff there were faultless, they were friendly & extremely helpful. It was so nice to go somewhere where the staff look like they want to be there & are happy in their job.
The food in the restaurant was amazing & the spa facilities were great.

Cons:

If I had to say one thing it’ll be that the mattress was a little uncomfortable but this wouldn’t stop me staying there again.

Fabulous
Pros:

Absolutely everything about the place, people, food, our room, facilities and location. I cannot emphasise enough how everyone was so welcoming, friendly and helpful. Our short stay was wonderful. Thank you to everyone who made our stay a memorable one. I even got to personally thank the chef before we left this morning so that was a bonus.

Cons:

Nothing. Cannot understand people having a bitbof a moan about the place tbh

Not overly luxurious but very pleasant
Pros:

The room very very spacious and nicely decorated, the hotel itself was also very pleasant and the location was excellent

Cons:

The spa is very average, definitely would have been disappointed if it were a spa getaway weekend and it gets quite noisy with paper thin walls

A really lovely place to stay.
Pros:

The staff were 5* the decor was 5* and the food was gorgeous and reasonably priced. The room was lovely. Shower nice and hot.

Cons:

The pool was too cold. The toilet in the ladies chandinf room could do with a re-fresh. Room 53 was very cold we had to ask for the heating to be put on. Shower not very powerful. But these are just me being picky.

Great stay would stay again and recommend
Pros:

The lounge area and fire, very relaxing . The staff were beyond helpful and kind . My husband gets up very early before breakfast start and he was able to come down stairs and have tea and toast before a walk .

Cons:

The room (52 ) was tired and small . Not having bed side lights meant the top spot light was too bright when you partner is trying to sleep . It was a little inconvenient not having sockets by the bed , looked like blanked off .

Spa facilities great, breakfast good standard.
Pros:

Spa was really lovely, facilities good and very clean. Breakfast was delicious, so much choice and good quality food.

Cons:

Fire alarm went off during the middle of the night due to a fault in the server. No one came to apologise or tell us what was happening and no compensation for being woken up.
