A gem in Kyoto
Pros:

It's a boutique hotel, near a stream, excellent design of common spaces, cozy. Breakfast was good, free snacks and beverages in the afternoon. Very well located, in the same block of the metro station. Quiet neighborhood. The room was small but average to japanese hotels. Staff very helpful.

住宿地點遠離鬧區，加上在白川邊，有種悠閒感，如果是夏天有柳樹應該會更美。一樓的公共空間氣氛溫馨，有舒適的桌椅，晚上有簡單的酒水，跟很多有趣的書，雖然我不喝酒，依然很喜歡這個空間。

剛好住在面對大馬路的房間，幾個晚上都有很吵的車經過。

The best hotel I have ever stayed in
Pros:

After staying at this wonderful hotel, no other hotel will ever satisfy me again. The hotel staff was very nice. They always greeted us, and their English is very good. When it was snowing, they gave us towels when we entered to dry off, which is very thoughtful. I felt at ease in this hotel, becuase the staff were always there to help and kept everything exceptionally clean. I hope the staff know that their hard work is appreciated.

The hotel is charming and in the perfect area of Kyoto, which is beautiful but not too touristy and not noisy. I love that from the first floor, there is a view of the stream outside. It is easy to sleep because there is no noise at night. The hotel's breakfast and happy hour snacks are delicious, and they use local ingredients and foods. The beds are comfortable, and the provided toiletries are great and all made in Japan. I plan to return in the future.
