We liked everything about the hotel. Clean and tidy, nice decor.
Breakfast selection had decent options.
The swimming pool and facilities were top notch.
Special shout out to Yasin and Leanne, they provided exceptional customer service and made sure our stay was fruitful.
Although it didn't apply to myself as I am a member of IHG, it would be better to not charge guests a parking fee to park securely at their car park.
They didn't have a large TV screen in the lobby area, it would have been nice to have watched the Champions League Final there.
the swimming pool had a separate closing time for children (6.30pm) it wasn't a big deal to be honest, but some may find that a bit annoying.
The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The only tiny negative was the bathroom shower, otherwise it would have been 10/10.
Breakfast was exceptional, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
Good selection for breakfast, great staff .
Smallish room , worse shower at hotel for some time.
The reception Lady who was working today 28 May 2026

Location
Lack of room seating
Staff were friendly. Place was clean
Thin walls. Felt like i was in the bathroom with the family next door.
Weird sounds from heating/aircon/kitchen vents around 5.30am on both nights.
Close by our child's university.
Good size room. Air-conditioning. Can bring your dog.
The loo seat was wobbly. There was some hair left around the sink and on the bedding.
The Spa Healtclub is excellent
Everything in the hotel was clean. The room was a good size and had everything we required. It didn't have a fridge but we were able to get fresh milk to the room when needed.
The spa facilities were excellent. It wasn't too busy and was again very clean. The pool is a good size for swimming.
A de mister mirror would be good.
Pleasant hotel, just off m1 motorway. Staff pleasant and friendly. Leanne receptionist, very helpful and lovely.
Booked a premium queen room with combination shower / bath. Room on arrival had walk in shower and when I queried it ,I was shown an alternative which was clearly not premium , older furnishings and the carpet didn't look great( confirmed by pictures on the website) so stayed in the room already allocated.
Premium room had everything you would expect- hairdryer, ironing board, iron , safe , tea and coffee BUT there was no fridge ( there was a cupboard that looked like it was designed for a fridge). For the cost of the room and comparison on previous hotel stays at Crowne plaza and similar standard hotels a fridge has been included. For this reason that's why I've given 4 and not 5 stars (sadly) as we were staying 2 days and wanted somewhere to keep our drinks and snack cold ( room was very warm).
The hotel is clean, nice decor. We ate evening meal and breakfast and both were great quality at a fair price.
The swimming pool. Sauna and steam room, again these were great, clean and enjoyable.
10 EV chargers ( take your own lead) available but we did notice non ev cars parked in the spaces, despite having spaces available in the large car park.
Overall a very pleasant stay and I would recommend a stay here.
Wow what a place . We were met by Sophie at reception, who is very friendly, then when we read the reviews about Marcos we were wary but it was amazing. The food was to die for , no complaints at all. The drinks are very reasonable and the staff excellent, Rachael and Kerri at breakfast are lovely ladies . The only negative was the £15 taxi to the airport , not anything to do with the hotel , but Kegworth is such a lovely village we will use the crowne plaza again but take the car to meet and greet in the morning.
