Good value for money.
Room was clean.
Wifi was of good enough speed to stream.
Air con worked well but was an aftermarket fit wall unit so blew directly on one of the beds (central air would have been better/expected)

Restaurant at an airport hotel that shuts at 9pm.
No coffee or tea making facilities anywhere in the hotel or room.
Breakfast was of a decent quality but a poor selection - even though replenished so things were avalible there wasn't much available.
The fact that the front desk told us about pool opening times that were not completely correct and
Imposing children's pool use times for 12 year olds without it being written anywhere including their official website or told by staff when enquiring.
Closing the spa and pool at 730pm on a weekend then being told otherwise.
Parking is paid for even though its in the middle of a residential area - and it managed by another company which is unnecessary hassle for those not doing park and fly.
Events running into the night in one of the public suites which were clearly audible in the rooms with windows closed.
The check-in staff were very polite and check-in was very efficient. The rooms were like a maze to locate. However, easy.
The room was scented when I walked in, no musky scents, exceptionally clean throughout the entire room including very good quality bedding and towels.
The amenities in the room were fantastic, quality powerful shower in a compact bathroom, although a sufficient size. Well set out wardrobe, desk area when entering the room with sufficient lighting and complimentary branded canned water and tea / coffee facilities with ample wardrobe space.
The bedroom was separate to the desk and wardrobe area and was narrow yet spacious with very clean surroundings.
The bedding was incredible. Nothing to fault and not only clean it smelt clean too. The pillows were very good and the mattress I chose a room without a soft mattress and I had an incredible nights sleep.
The room had a small window into a courtyard area, so natural light and efficient enough.
On check out the staff again were fantastic and polite.
I would highly recommend this hotel and with sufficient car parking in made the stay very comfortable and enjoyable.

Great location and air conditioning was great. The room needed some touch ups, more so the bathroom. Amazing breakfast serviced ar 6am, with full english available. Overall good stay.
Bathroom could have been maintained a little better.
The staff at Crowne Plaza were phenomenal and made our stay wonderful. The hotel is cozy, clean and had a great selection for breakfast. Massages and wellness centre were also 10/10. Will happily stay again!
The location is great if you’re going to Download Festival and can’t camp…
The beds are too small, ordering a caffe latte… came with a serrated milk on the side, room service after 11 pm includes 4 items only, no other options, the extended “Download Festival” menu was served only at the restaurant, no room service even if you’re exhausted, the hotel taxi service offered at the desk was 3x the Uber/Bolt rate, shower and toilet water pressure could be waaaaay better. This is my second and last time to book the hotel.

Room bland, no air con and not nice outlook
A function based hotel. A tray of cakes was placed at reception. I was neither offered nor would I have accepted not knowing how long they have been left on display.
My room was spacious and extremely functional and well equipped with plentiful hanging space. The outlook was disappointing into a light well littered with air-conditioning units.
The bathroom was modern but not the cleanest.
Good comfortable bed.
Sound transmission was a problem. I could hear the toilet flush, showering and all WC movements from the rooms above. Clearly the drainage was either above or beside my bed.
Breakfast was limited but of good quality.
Small clean pool with health suite.
Strange location other than attending a function.
It's a really great location to stay at if you have a flight next day at east Midlands as it's easy to find and also easy to get to the airport from there. The hotel itself is clean and tidy. It was very quick to check in and had no issues with that.
The shower in my room was a bit weird, it had a very high pressure shower head and you couldn't get hot water with it unless putting it on highest pressure whihc makes it kinda impossible to use it.
The room was compact, yet had all the amenities required. I didn’t opt for a soft mattress and the bed was perfect. I always wear ear plugs, so I can’t confirm if the hotel was quiet. The individual air con unit was effective. Very friendly staff at check in and check out.
