Nice! The staff were very warm and kind. They spoke English. Parking (17Eu./day) was convenient.
Pros:

Breakfast: good variety
Location: quite central, close to many restaurants, and the shopping area
Room: large enough, with all the standard features expected from a 4-star hotel. My room was quiet as long as the windows were closed (which was fine for me, as the room had air-conditioning). TV has only German channels. International channels appear in the list, but I didn't manage to tune into any of them (CNN, BBC, ...).

Cons:

Room: the door did not lock properly. I informed the person at the reception about it. She came and checked it; agreed that there was something wrong with the lock, but said problem could not be fixed immediately. It wasn't fixed during my stay.

Jederzeit für einen kurzen Aufenthalt in Darmstadt
Pros:

Lage unmittelbar am Zentrum von Darmstadt, über einem Parkhaus liegend, also kein Problem, das Auto abzustellen, sehr hilfsbereites Personal, gute Ausstattung des Zimmers, ein Frühstücksbüffet mit sehr viel Angebot. dazu auch viele Nebenräume und Nischen zum kurzen oder längeren Verweilen. Zudem Kaffee und Tee jederzeit frisch gratis an der Rezeption.

Cons:

Für den Baulärm in nächster Nähe kann das Hotel nichts, ebensowenig für die durch Straßen-Baustellen bedingte geänderte und erschwerte Streckenführung in Darmstadt, die mit Navi aber zu meistern ist. Die Verdunkelung im Zimmer mittels Vorhang ist allerdings etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig. Zudem war der Aufzug nur für Auf- und Abfahren zur Rezeption des Hotels angelegt. In Hotel und Parkhaus waren Treppenstufen zu bewältigen.

Zentral gelegenes, freundliches und sauberes Hotel
Pros:

Das Service-Team ist außergewöhnlich hilfsbereit, zuvorkommend, freundlich und kompetent. Einige MitarbeiterInnen sehe ich schon seit Jahren. Das bedeutet, dass sie Freude an Ihrem Job haben und mit ihrem Arbeitgeber zufrieden sind. Das Frühstück bietet viele vegane Optionen. Die zentrale Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten, Shops und Restaurants sind in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen.
