Die Lage ist unschlagbar, zum Dom zum shoppen optimal! Das Frühstück ausgesprochen vielseitig und sehr hochwertig in einem sehr ansprechenden Rahmen präsentiert. Das Personal war allesamt sehr höflich, hilfsbereit und freundlich

Leider gabe es bei unserer Anreise vor der Haustüre eine Baustelle was die Anreise etwas komplizierte, wasaber das sehr hilfsbereitem Personal schnell und unkompliziert gelöst hat

Exceptional hospitality and beautiful surroundings

Location is perfect, just steps from the Duomo and surrounded by some of Milan's most beautiful streets and shops, including a personal favourite, Peck.

The staff were exceptional and made me feel genuinely cared for. Milan was the final stop on a three-week journey that had its share of challenges before I arrived, and staying at Matilde felt like a reward. Mir, who assisted in guest services, in particular, was outstanding - thoughtful, attentive, and consistently kind.

Matilde is a charming old-world boutique hotel that captures the elegance of a different era. It offers the kind of personalized service that has become increasingly rare in modern travel. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed, pampered, and completely at ease. As an experienced business traveller, I especially appreciated the rare combination of central location, comfort, and genuinely attentive service.

I would not hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a refined and memorable experience in the heart of Milan.
