Breakfast is not as it is advertised !

I called the day before I booked the hotel to make sure that the pool was open and that my grandkids would be able to come swim with us. It was my granddaughters 10th birthday and was told that it was open and they would be able to swim. So, I booked the hotel. The next day upon arrival I saw that the pool was very green. We drove 2 hours and 45 minutes to get there. I went to the front desk and asked the employee if the pool was opened and he said no, not that I would ever let my grandkids get in it due to it being non swim able! I asked for a refund and they said “No” I feel I was lied to and left the property very upset. I went and found another hotel down the road that had a swimming pool that we could swim in. I’m hoping that you guys can make it right and I feel I should get my money back since we never used the facility and was misleading or lied too. Plz make this right for us.

Staff was very helpful. However the facility maintenance was not the greatest. Once we checked into our room we noticed

Reasonable priced, good location, does need some upkeep
Pros:

Breakfast was decent. Check in and out was easy.

Cons:

Strobbing bathroom light kept me up, and a small eating area for breakfast. Not enough tables to eat breakfast at.

Very disappointed
Pros:

It was close to the event I was traveling to.

Cons:

The staff was extremely unfriendly. The room had no soap, towels or wash cloths. The mattress felt like laying on coil springs. I was very disappointed

Pros:

The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were good.

Cons:

The toilet ran constantly, the bathroom door didn't stay shut, and the closet rack was broken and barely hanging on. Oh, and warm water not hot for showers. Its too bad they could be great rooms.

Terrible condition and staff.

Dirty old and incompetent staff! Got into the assigned room but the room was occupied. The replacement room was empty but 4 people were assigned the same room two hours later! They woke us up trying to get in!
in addition the rooms are stale, smell and nothing seems to work. Breakfast is awful.

My stay was comfortable with the exception of the leak.
Cons:

The faucet on the vanity leaked on the counter and my personal belongings ( jewelry and makeup) were sitting in a puddle of water when I awoke next morning. The entire counter top was standing in water. It appeared to leak around the base of the faucet.
