Lovely hotel. Staff were helpful and kind especially the bartender who was very knowledgable. Beautiful views and gorgeous room
This was an amazing hotel. I enjoyed it so much. Had a marvellous Seaview over Fowey just so relaxing my UK highlight
Breakfast good. Took a while for table to be ready and longer for tables to be cleared. Needed a manager directing staff to clear quicker and get ready.
Friendly staff - parking an issue. Overall good value and a lovely hotel
Position and friendly staff.
Nothing disliked.
All hotels have good rooms and less good rooms. Unfortunately the Harbour has some shockers! Our room was facing directly onto the street to the rear (at head high for passers by) above the kitchen with extract from the fryers just upwind. Although the summer day we were there was not particularity warm, the room was stiflingly hot when we walked in in late afternoon. This was partly due to the bathroom towel rail being on at full blast. As with many older English hotels there is no air con - just two dusty fans in the wardrobe. Inevitably, given the street was just outside there are restrictors on the windows meaning that the windows could only be opened a little. One just fell down shut as soon as it was opened (a book wedged in solved that). Despite turning the towel rail off the and using the fans the room remained boiling with kitchen fumes coming in through the partly open windows. We spent a very uncomfortable night and will not be returning.
Lovely little hotel with fabulous views and great friendly staff. My room was great and my immaculate. Food was very good. I will definitely be returning soon.
Windows could be better washed not to take away from amazing sea views
The dining room has an amazing view of Fowey.
Food options good. The bar tender service was impeccable.
Room a good size
Lovely setting, great views across the river. Easy walk into the town with some great places to eat. Parking available but need to book separately with the hotel.
Nicely refurbed hotel, but pricey.lack of parking made it less convenient. Overall the hotel is good but expensive.
Stay at this hotel.
Firstly, a credit to the staff, all of whom were fantastically polite and personable, providing simply great service.
The vintage lift was a unique joy with the communal areas continuing the slightly nostalgic theme.
The bar and dining vibe was relaxed, quiet and combined with great food and attentive staff made for a relaxed breakfast, evening drinks and dinner. Incidentally, dining provides for great views over the harbour.
Our room had the most complete sea vista, was incredibly clean with a very comfy bed and was very well stocked with tea and Nespresso coffee.
In contrast to other large hotels locally the Harbour provided for a quiet, relaxing stay and a memorable visit to Fowey.
Thank you to all at the hotel.
Lovely stay at this hotel. Staff are super friendly. Room was lovely. Didn’t eat at the hotel only breakfast. Shame you now have to pay for a hot breakfast so we stuck with continental which was limited but adequate. We aren’t big breakfast eaters. Complimentary gin is a lovely touch and made the most of that. This was our second stay and will be back. We love fowey
Staff were great, veiw amazing.
Dinner and breakfast in the restaurant both really good.
Lovely views and friendly people. Would expect a bit more from a 4-star - like air conditioning / pool / spa. I also wasn’t expecting so many dogs to be staying there - which put me off a little, but didn’t cause any real issues.
Great view and location. Staff at breakfast were friendly and professional.
Sublime. Location, staff, breakfast, the quality of the room excellent. I also stayed in Sidmouth, and had the same impression. Highly recommended chane
Excellent staff and refurbishment following our last visit over 7 years ago. Wonderful location, of course you get what yo pay for
