Comfortable stay just outside Belize City
Pros:

Relatively good location outside of town but in an area with shops and restaurants
Large and comfortable room with good air conditioning
Friendly bar and restaurant

Cons:

Very poor communication- we tried to book the shuttle with messages via booking, email and phone with no response for weeks. Eventually had to find our own taxi
Hotel generally seemed short staffed at the front desk
No outdoor windows for the room- window was to the hallway

Pros:

They have done tons of renovation and expansion to the hotel. The garden is beautiful. Love the colorful vegetation and cleanliness of the property. Apart from the front desk personnel, the staff are warm and friendly

Cons:

FRONT DESK ONLY!! ...Upon check in we were informed by front desk that they overbooked us and there were no rooms available and needed to relocate us to another property. Booked 36hours prior to arrival and no one reached out to inform us about the overbooking. My husband told them we were not going to another property and in a matter of seconds, our room was available. Front desk experience left a bad taste in our mouths. We came on last minute trip in October and also got the same treatment, so we certainly feel like we are not welcome.

Pros:

Proximity to the airport. Excellent restaurant on-site.

Cons:

Only 1 luggage cart with broken wheels. It such a big hotel that is not practical.

The hotel has a beautiful open tropical space in the middle, with hotel rooms
surrounding it. Although this is a great feature, the hallways to the rooms is open and it becomes very noisy. Unfortunately for our stay we had high school students groups on vacation and as teenagers will be, they were loud, slamming of doors till late in the evening . Just bad timing.

Our premium king size room was quite nice, spacious and a clean nice bathroom.

A rip offf.
Pros:

I was charged for no show after trying several times to cancel teh reservation. Each time I tried to cancel I got no answer from them. Then they went ahead and took my money!

Cons:

Thjey could have honored my reservation on another date, I just wanted to move it out about a week.
