Pros:

Loved the authenticity of the castle rooms and the services provided. Dinner was phenomenal and our sauna and hottub room was perfekt.

Cons:

Not that I didnt like it. Just didnt realize when coming in without a car you have to trek up a mountain side.

Pros:

Fantastisches Burghotel, liebevoll eingerichtet, passende Ausstattung, herzliches und super-freundliches Team, ausgezeichnetes Essen. Lokation eignet sich hervorragend für die Ausrichtung von Events wie zB Hochzeiten.

Das Frühstück war hervorragend habe sogar eine Kanne Kaffee vor dem Frühstück bekommen dank ihrer lieben Bedienung fand ich sehr lieb weil mir als Frühaufsteher 8 Uhr bisschen spät ist...würde sofort zehn Punkte geben war alles sehr schön aber bitte die Fernsehverbindung verbessern kann man gar nicht schauen ohne Störung oder verzehrte Sprache

Das Personal war hervorragend immer nett und hilfsbereit sehr schöne Burg und sehr schönes sauberes Zimmer haben außer dem Fernseher und dem bisschen späten Frühstück gar nichts zu meckern

Perfect stay in a fairytale German castle.
Pros:

From the first moment we were greeted by a staff member, a very tall, friendly, well-dressed older German man, we were treated warmly and kindly. And our spoken German is very rudimentary but any of the staff that helped us were very patient and generally fully understood English. The grounds were enchanting, we explored every inch of the castle hotel and grounds. The room was magnificent and very clean, cozy, and well-appointed. we were even welcomed with a complimentary glass of delicious sherry! And we had both dinner and breakfast at the hotel which was elegant but very cozy and the views were perfect of the surrounding small town and of course the gorgeous Rhine River and valley.

Kein Handtuchhalter im WC.

Great experience for the whole family and an amazing adventure to stay at a castle.
Pros:

The history, the grounds, the hotel room, the service, the staff - all amazing! We had a unique and wonderful experience. Breakfast was very good and service within the hotel was very good as well. The best part, though, would be the grounds and the room, especially the secret door to the bathroom!

Cons:

Dinner was good but not amazing, though it was perfectly fine and the ambience and location were very great. I would just caution people with physical limitations to consider their needs before booking, as many parts of the hotel are not wheelchair accessible (thought his is common in Europe and a medieval castle, of course).
