Breakfast was excellent
The room we were given had someone in it. We walked in on bags and someone was inside the bathroom. It could have been very embarrassing. Reception sorted out another room quickly .
The location was great. The apartment was clean and really good value for money.
I was surprised to arrive and find that on the 10th floor, which the apartment was on, the windows could wind open. Most only opened a small amount, but one opened so far that my 5 year old could have fallen out of it. The gap was that big. It surprised me as they didn't seem to be a way to lock them either.
The property's location was great. Close to tram stops, a quick walk to fed square too. The room we had was on the 7th floor and faced the parliament building and was very quiet and clean. We had the one-bedroom executive room, and it was great for my family, as it had basic cooking facilities, and the bedroom provided space for my kids to sleep peacefully. Surprisingly, the pull-out couch was comfy. Housekeeping did a fantastic job of preparing the room for our arrival, the sofa bed was already made up. The room had tea and coffee and milk also. Overall, our stay was great at the Mantra 100 Exhibition. I would stay there again.
Check-in took longer than they said; however, it didn't impact us too much, and we had a small issue with the key cards the next day, but the staff resolved that quickly. However, if it were after hours, I am not sure how quickly that issue would have been fixed.
The location was perfect, close to tram stops so you can get anywhere with ease, 7 Eleven and restaurants.
The room was set up well, didn’t love the shower over the bath set up but it was fine. Bathroom was a dated and there’s some PowerPoints that could use an upgrade.
So close to everything with public transport really accessible. The staff were so friendly and accommodating.
Sadly we had a few nights of noise - our room faced on to an alleyway where a nightclub was located and the noise travelled into the room. This is completely outside of the hotel’s control. Just something to be aware of.
decent location
check-in took forever, they made us wait 1h30min in the lobby while they kept telling us that it would just be another 5-10mins more, only for them to tell us the room was finally ready and it wasn't even our room. whole system was messy and no one seemed to know what was going on, even were confused about whether or not we had paid already. facilities were also rather dated and old, shower had no shower curtains so the whole bathroom was wet
